At the official unveiling of the Galaxy Note 10.1 back in the US, Samsung also went on to officially announce that the Korean giant has sold 10 million 5.3 inch Galaxy Note worldwide and crossed a new milestone.
Sammy managed to hit this new milestone in a matter of just 9 months, which is indeed a great achievement for the company as it went on to open a totally new category.
Back in March Samsung had announced that the company had successfully sold 5 million Galaxy Notes and now in another few months the next 5 million Notes have been sold. These numbers reflect sales to different channels like distributors, operators, retailers etc.
With this achievement and betting totally on it, Samsung is planning to unveil the next generation of the Galaxy Note, probably Note II just before the IFA back in Berlin on August 29.
The Galaxy Note II is said to be arriving with an upgraded quad core processor, better 5.5 inch screen (maybe flexible or at least curved) and much more.
