It has been 999 days since Huawei first introduced its sub-brand Honor, and since then, has sold more than 100 Million units of Honor branded smartphones. Out of those 100 Million units, the company sold 1.5 Million units of Honor 8 that was launched in July this year.
The Honor 8 was first launched in China in July, followed by the US and Europe last month. The device is yet to reach India, but as soon as it is launched in India and other markets, the sales number is only going to climb up the ladder.
The Honor 8 sports a metal frame around the sides and flaunts glass back. It has Kirin 950 octa-core processor under the hood which is coupled with 4 GB RAM and Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. The device boasts a 5.2-inch Full-HD display which is backed by a 3000 mAh battery.
The Honor 8 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and features a fingerprint scanner on the back. The device has 32 GB of internal storage whereas the external storage can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. Picking up the trend, the Honor 8 comes with a 12 MP dual camera (monochrome + color) at the back along with an 8 MP camera on the front.
