Vodafone introduces new GPRS Pack for Kolkata

Vodafone Essar today launched a GPRS voucher for its prepaid customers in Kolkata. Priced at Rs. 21, the GPRS prepaid voucher allows the customer to browse upto 200 MB data and comes with a validity of two days.The GPRS voucher is available across all Vodafone Stores, Mini Stores and other retail outlets in Kolkata.
Its clear that Vodafone is not targetting new consumers with this plan as its very costly as compared to what other operators are providing. Vodafone need to rethink about its new GPRS plan in Kolkata if it wants to attract new customers. I mean they are not offering better tariffs or atleast the same tariffs as TATA DOCOMO or Aircel.
