Samsung officially announces the Galaxy S Advance

So just this morning we posted about Samsung working on an upgrade of the Galaxy S called the Galaxy S Advance, well, now it is official.
Samsung has made the smartphone official by announcing it on its official press website.
Samsung has made the smartphone official by announcing it on its official press website.An upgrade from the original Galaxy S, the S Advance has a 1GHz dual-core processor, a 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display with curved glass design, Android 2.3 OS, 14.4Mbps HSPA, 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 720p video playback and recording, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, 8 or 16B of internal memory, 768MB of RAM, FM Radio, microSD card slot and a 1500mAh battery.
The handset is said to be released first in Russia in February followed by CIS, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Southeast and Southwest Asia, Latin America and China.
