Samsung launches Metro 3G (S 5350)

samsung-metro-3g-s5350-sSamsung today announced the launch of Metro 3G. With the launch of this new mobile, Samsung has five Metro Series of mobiles in its line up. The Metro 3G offers users easy access to 9 social networking sites – Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, Picassa, Friendster, Photobucket etc. With the 3G (HSDPA) network , which is again a first in the Metro series and with SNS shortcut toolbar on the home screen, users can upload photos, send messages and stay in touch with their peers in the online space. Metro 3G also comes equipped with a chat messenger and supports GTalk, AIM and Palringo chat.

The Metro 3G comes with 3.2 Megapixel camera with Smile shot and Panorama shot technology and Bluetooth 2.1 which offers wireless connectivity to headsets, printers as well as mobile and PC devices. The phone also offers ample storage space of 105MB internal memory and a microSD support up to 16GB. Further Metro 3G is also the first phone in the Metro series with that offers 9 regional languages support.  

The phone comes preloaded with Google applications and allows users to open and read rich text documents and comes equipped with a mobile tracker. The Metro 3G is priced at Rs. 8250.
