Vimeo has finally opened its doors to Windows Phone and Android. Vimeo's upload manager now comes with apps which means you no longer have to start over a video to watch it uninterrupted on your Android/ Windows Phone or Kindle Fire .

Vimeo's apps bring you a clean interface, which is easy to operate on both Android and Windows Phone. In fact, the Windows app is smooth as silk when it comes to shooting, uploading and sharing. One more feature worth mentioning is the Vimeo video player that works magnificently on both platforms. In fact, the Vimeo for Windows Phone and Android works even better than the Windows version.
According to Joe Schmitt, the lead developer at Vimeo,"People are using their mobile devices not only to watch video but to shoot and then upload video to share online. This will only continue to grow due to the widespread accessibility of high-quality video on mobile devices and high-speed mobile Internet access. Vimeo recognizes the importance of expanding its platforms to allow people to access Vimeo from as many devices as possible."
The unique feature of Vimeo is that it has created a different app for every platform and engineered it to provide a flawless experience for its users.
