Uninor today announced that it will be offering its subscribers in Mumbai very heavy discounts on local on-net calls. The discounts will range from 85% to 96% depending upon the location and the time. The best part about this plan is that Uninor subscribers will not have to pay anything extra for special recharge to get benefit of these discount rates, as its available as default to existing as well as new subscribers of the Dynamic Pricing plan.
If you are not on Dynamic Pricing Plan of Uninor then to avail the benefit of this discount you need to get a special recharge of Rs. 26 which comes with a validity of 3 months. Uninor's Dynamic Pricing Plan offers discount upto 5% to 60% on local calls to other networks.
This plan will save some money, though not much, for those who are currently using i-gain 37 special recharge of Uninor which offers 2000 local U2U minutes. Assuming if you use only 1000 minutes then you should not recharge with i-gain 37 as Uninor will by default is offering heavy discount so in that case you will have to pay only Rs. 20 (approx assuming 2p/min).

Uninor launches new STD Recharge Vouchers for Jharkhand and Bihar

Uninor has launched a special recharge voucher called the STV 21 and STV 41 for its customers in Jharkhand and Bihar. Using these two offers, customers can avail free STD minutes from Uninor to any network across the country.
STV 21 comes with a validity of 15 days and offers Uninor customers 50 STD minutes free, while on recharge of STV 41, customers can avail 100 STD minutes free with a validity of 30 days. The unique feature of this offer is the ‘Carry Forward’ option in which a Uninor customer has the option to carry forward their unused free STD minutes on their next recharge with STV 21 or STV 41 within the validity period.
For example: If a customer has recharged with STV 21 on 1st of Apr’11, he received 50 STD minutes with validity till 15th April’11. If the customer recharges again with 21 or 41 on or before 15th of Apr’11 then all unused minutes will be carry forwarded, else the same will be forfeited.
Uninor expands in Andhra Pradesh by opening 25 new Retail Outlets

Telecom Operator, Uninor announced that they will be increasing their retail outlet stores in Andhra Pradesh to 90 by adding 25 new retail outlets.
"Uninor has always been committed to extending its reach and services to our customers whether they are settled in the rural areas or the biggest cities of the state. At present, we have 65 Uninor branded stores across three different innovative retail formats and we look forward to a 90 store footprint by June end,” said Satish Kumar Kannan, Business Head-A P Circle, Uninor.

Uninor to provide with Andhra Pradesh Intermediate results

Uninor customers in Andhra Pradesh can now access the Intermediate results through IVR and SMS on their mobile phones. To avail the results through voice, customers can dial 58888 and follow the instructions, this service costs at Rs. 7 per minute. To get the results thorugh SMS, customers need to type in the relevant code followed by the 10 digit roll number of the candidate and SMS it 58888, this service will charge Rs. 3 per SMS. Example: for 2nd year General : SMS IPEG2 RollNo. to 58888

Uninor launched a new service for its customers in Bihar and Jharkhand. Pre-paid users can now avail the Talk Time Transfer service and can transfer as well as ask for talk-time from their family and friends even if the user has no/zero balance.
A subscriber can transfer amounts between Rs. 5 to Rs. 50 by dialing *202*<local uninor mobile number of receiver>*<amount>#. A Uninor subscriber can also ask for talktime by dialing *201*<local uninor mobile number>*<amount>#
Transfer balance amounts can be anything from Rs. 5 to Rs. 50 and a maximum of 7 transactions per day can be done. A charge of Rs. 2 will be deducted as the fee from the amount of transaction. Subscriber has to do minimum of two recharges while being there in Uninor network, before being able to use the balance transfer functionality.

Uninor has today announced the launch of Special Tarif Voucher for its customers in Karnataka circle which allows calls to local Uninor numbers for as low as Rs 5p/min.The STV 33 brings lowest calling rate to Uninor for Karnataka subscribers. The STV 33 is valid for a period of 90 days.
