BSNL introduces new Plan Voucher for its tablet users

BSNL has announced a revision in its Tablet Plans in view to comply with new directives laid down by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).
Now BSNL’s Tablet Plan users will have to opt in for New Plan Voucher 74, which will give tablet users, 200 MB data free to be used within 30 days from the date of activation and will provide a validity of 180 days.

The 5th season of IPL has begun and Uninor is offering you live updates from the tournament on its “Cricket Portal” which is a voice based application and enables subscribers to listen to and browse cricket content via the mobile network. The network provider has been facilitating this service to its subscribers since last two years and this year plans to do the same with new features.

Continuing its efforts to comply with TRAI’s latest directive to protect consumer interest and stop confusing tariff plans, BSNL has announced a few changes to its 2G data services.
In the Chennai Telecom Circle all the 2G prepaid Data RCVs are offered as STVs only through SMS so there is no change in the branding of the STVS.

3G services in India were delayed by a significantly long time, and it was not that affordable when it finally arrived. Now we believe that Bharti Airtel is going to be the first mobile operator in India to launch the next generation 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) services for its users in Kolkata.

In order to comply with the latest TRAI directives for not ‘Misleading tariff Plans’ to all telecom operators, BSNL has announced a few changes to its 3G data plans.
Now the Plan Voucher is priced at Rs. 51which will come with a validity of one year. After the validity ends after 1 year, 3G user has to go in for the same Plan Voucher to extend the validity.

Idea Cellular has announced the launch of new unlimited 3G plans for its users in Maharashtra and Goa Telecom circle.

On one hand we saw BSNL announce that it’ll offer less talktime to all its users, thanks to the increase in Service Tax by 2%, Vodafone India has announced that the company is now offering extra talktime to its users in TamilNadu.
The extra talktime ranges from 9% to 22% on different top-ups of Rs. 10, Rs. 20, Rs. 30, Rs. 50 and Rs. 100.
