IDEA Cellular has launched a new ‘My Gang’ pack for its Orissa Telecom cricle subscribers. This new 'My Gang' pack comes loaded with Tariff & VAS benefits.It offers Local Idea to Idea calling, at 1 paise per 4 seconds. It also allows its users to send free 100 SMS’ nationally or locally everyday, for a period of two months, however the first 3 SMS of the day will be charged at 60 paise.
The pack offers calling rates for other Local calls at 1 paise per 2 seconds.This pack also offers up to 104 MB of Internet usage free, everyday.
The new Idea Pack can be availed by new prepaid subscribers by simply doing a recharge of Rs. 42.
Vodafone (Kerala) launches Onam and Ramadan Offers

Vodafone has announced the launch of two special offers - Onam offer & Ramadan offer -for its subscribers in Kerala on the occasion of Onam and Ramdan.Onam special bonus card is available at Rs. 86. It is valid for 30 days. This bonus cards offers Vodafone to Vodafone calls at 30p/min, Free 300 local vodafone to vodafone night minutes, 68 local Vodafone to Vodafone minutes. This pack also offers calls to Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and UAE at 12 p/second (Qatar and Oman at 17p/second).
To activate this pack dial 121 or *555*86# from you vodafone number. This recharge is also available from retail outlets.
Additionally, subscribers can choose Onam special songs to set as ringtones and caller tunes at Rs.15 for 90 days . Onam Songs can also dedicated friends and family by dialing 567410, a special Onam number, charged at Rs. 6 per minute.
On the occasion of Ramadan, Vodafone offers full talk time on a recharge of Rs 786 which allows subscribers to make calls to the Gulf at 12p/sec (Oman and Qatar at 17 p/second). This offer is valid for 30 days from the day of recharge. Customers can dial the Special Ramadan Number 5674786 and download devotional songs as their caller tunes and ringtones at Rs 6 per minute.

Uninor’s UP East subscribers can now make calls at 20-48 p/min as Uninor has announced the extension of its Dynamic Pricing plan to all STD calls in UP East. This discount is not just applicable on local but STD calls too - from Uninor to any operator. Dynamic Pricing on STD calls is available on recharge of Rs. 28 with the validity of 90 days & Local calls is available on recharge of Rs 48 with the validity of 1 year.
All those who do not know what is Dynamic Pricing, here is what it is :

TATA DOCOMO has launched yet another first in the industry; ‘Free Air Time Rollover’ (FAT) offer for its potential postpay customers. Under this offer customers can roll over their current unused free air time to next month. The roll over of free air time for a period of 6 months. The Free Air Time roll over plan is available under the 20 options of Diet 299 and Diet 499 plans. If customers are unable to use the complete FAT Rollover offered in the plan in one month, the same is carried forward to next month along with the regular monthly FAT Rollover. The cumulative FAT Rollover will be available for a period of 6 months. Post the sixth month; the cumulative un-utilized FAT Rollover will be forfeited.

The new Idea Student Pack offers Local Idea calling within the group, at just 15 paise per minute for 1 year, however the 1st minute of the day would be charged at Re.1. Nokia Ovi Life Tools are now available for Bharti Airtel subscribers. Nokia and Bharti Airtel joined hands to launch Ovi Life Tools service targeted at providing Airtel’s mobile customers with access to relevant content on agriculture, education and entertainment. The partnership between Nokia and Airtel will let the Indian users access to information available in a simple icon based, graphically rich user interface.Airtel users will be able to activate Ovi Life Tools on their mobiles and can subscribe to Ovi Life Tools starting at Rs 10 per pack.
This service is available on a range of Nokia handsets including the entry level devices and is available in 11 Indian languages including Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Oriya, Assamese, Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada and Punjabi in addition to English.

Reliance Mobile has introduced Braille Bill Service for visually impaired. The Braille Bill service is first-of-its kind initiative introduced by an Indian telecom operator aiming to create an enabling and convenient customer service environment for the visually impaired.
Existing and new Reliance Mobile customers can request for the Braille Bill by registering their request with the company through its call center or Reliance World or Reliance Mobile Stores.
Reliance Mobile’s Braille Bills will be available across all products lines of RCOM’s Wireless Business. This will be a summarized bill providing key details of current usage, bill amount, last dues, last payment and adjustments made. The Braille Bill will also provide a breakup of the current charges payable by the customer. The normal detailed and itemized bills will also be available through regular channels in the form of hard copy as well as eBills. The Braille Bill will be dispatched to the visually impaired customers through post every month without any extra charges

TATA Indicom launches ‘Call-n-Tweet’ service

TATA Indicom subscribers can now Tweet on Voice. This ‘Call-n-Tweet’ service will enable Tata Indicom subscribers to update their Twitter status by posting Voice Tweets (short audio snippets) from their mobile without logging on the internet. To use this service TATA Indicom subsribers need to sign up at callntweet.com by using their twitter account details. Once registration is complete users can Voice tweet by dialing 50007. The subscribers pay a price of Re 0.80 for sending a voice tweet from their mobile.
The Call-n-Tweet service on Tata Teleservices network had been sourced from Kirusa.
