Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) better known as MTS India has launched a new initiative called 'MTS Mela' to engage and connect with its customers across Kerala.

The initiative has been designed to address the existing and new customers and provide them a range of telecom services under one single roof. Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) had announced the extension of its broadband offer in which the company is waiving off Registration and activation charges, Onetime non-refundable security deposit, Onetime non-refundable security Deposit for Wi-Fi modem and Onetime CPE installation and testing charges worth Rs. 1400.

The waiver offer is for Broadband Freedom-795, Freedom-800 and Freedom -1295 plan. MTNL is also waiving off charges of landline for a new telephone connection (in case of Combo plans) worth Rs. 500 during the offer period. MTNL is also offering F-Secure for one year worth Rs. 720 to all users opting for broadband connection from any one of the three available plans available with this offer.

BSNL introduces Nesam Super 801 prepaid plan in Tamil Nadu

The call charges for this plan for Local/STD/Roaming calls are 1p/sec to BSNL network and 1.2p/sec to other networks. Incoming calls during roaming will be charged as per 2G tariff. During night users will enjoy reduced tariff of 20p/min on BSNL numbers and 40p/min to other network. Users opting for this plan will also get 200 Local SMS free for the first six months and STD SMS will be charged at Re.1 and International SMS will be charged at Rs. 5/SMS
