Idea subscribers can now enjoy content (General, Money and Tech News) powered by Network 18

Network 18 has introduced co-branded WAP properties with IDEA Cellular. Under the same, Network 18 has customized its Finance, News & Technology content services for IDEA Cellular, keeping in mind the unique needs of subscribers. The services will be powered by category leaders: moneycontrol.com, IBNLive.com & Tech2.com.

The service can be accessed on IDEA's WAP portal- wap.ideaFresh.com. The daily, weekly and monthly subscription for News & Tech 2 content is priced at Rs. 3, Rs. 10, and Rs. 30 respectively. The subscription price for Finance content is Rs. 5/day, Rs 15/week and Rs. 50/month. These services will be available to GPRS Users of IDEA across 15 telecom circles in India.

Speaking about the initiative Mr. Pradeep Shrivastava, Chief Marketing Officer, IDEA Cellular, said "In line with our commitment to offer innovative value added services for our subscribers, IDEA Cellular in association with Network 18 services, will now introduce a range of extremely rich content around General News, Money & Technology. MTNL Mumbai today offers " Life Time Trump Prepaid Sim card" at absolutely Free for all existing MTNL Landline and Mobile subscribers. The Trump Life Time Prepaid SIM card dubbed as "Trump Jeevan Sathi" will have a talk time of Rs.20.

How to Get the Free Life Time Prepaid-:

• Existing Dolphin postpaid, MTNL Landline and Garuda customers can make request for the Free Trump Lifetime Prepaid card by the Trump CAF with two Photograph, One Photo Identity proof, and copy of producing their last paid bill. There should not be any outstanding in their account except the last bill if within due date.
  

• Existing Trump prepaid customers has to fill the Trump CAF, Photo and Documentary proof will be taken as per existing procedure.

This scheme will be implemented only from the MTNL's Area CSCs. and the free Trump SIM card will be given on first come first serve basis.

Virgin Mobile reduced incoming call credit from 10 paise to 5 paise

Virgin Mobile has reduced the 10 paise incoming credit per minute for every incomting call. All the new Virgin Mobile subscribers will now get only 5 paise/min for every incoming call.
The reduction in incoming call credit has resulted because of TRAI's decision to reduce termination charges.

All new subscribers will get credit of 5 paise/min after the six months with Virgin Mobile. So a new subscriber will have to continue using Virgin Mobile for atleast first six months to get the incoming call credit. Exisiting customers will get the credit from May 1.

Virgin Mobile used the 10 paise/min offer for aggressive marketing to target youth when it was launched. It was able to do this by taking advantage of the termination charge other operators pay for every call terminated on its network. Last month, TRAI reduced this charge from 30 paise a minute to 20 paise.

However MTNL Trump Prepaid customer can opt any rate cutter plan to reduce the call charghes as Trump-90 for 20 paisa Local calling, Trump Jadu for 49 paisa Local Calling and Trump Hangama for 10 paisa Local calling etc.
