TATA Indicom has launched a new Special Tariff voucher to bring down STD call rates to 50 paise / minute. This STV is priced at Rs. 8 and named aptly as 'Special Tariff Voucher 8'. It is available for all new and exisiting TATA Indicom Prepaid mobile subscribers across all the 22 telecom circles in the country. This special offer allows customers to make all STD calls at 50 paise per minute for 30 days. ‘STV 8’ is not applicable on plans like Pay Per Call, Pay Per Call Flexi, Pay Per Second, All 50 and Celebration plan. Also, this STV cannot be clubbed with any other voucher at the same point of time. This STV will only change STD tariffs; all other tariffs will be as per base profile. |

TATA Teleservices Limited has announced a ' Customer Service Charter ' for TATA Indicom customer. Under this Charter the company guarantees pre-determined levels of service and support—and includes ‘Compensation Clauses’ to pay back customers if the set service levels are not met. This initiative commemorates the 171st birth anniversary of Tata Group Founder, Sir Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata.
TATA Indicom has added one more handset to its portfolio of CDMA handsets which includes handsets of companies like Samsung, Nokia, HTC, Huawei and others. TATA Indicom has launched Micromax C112 at Rs. 1699. It is a Color FM handset. Micromax C112 is available with Tata Indicom’s ‘Pay Per Second’ offering for its prepaid customers across circles.
Tata Teleservices Limited emerged as the Number One telecom operator in the country for the sixth consecutive month in terms of new subscriber additions, adding more than 2.98 million subscribers in January 2010.
Finally TTML has launched the much awaited "pay per call" concept plan in Maharashtra and Goa circle.This plan is dubbed as "Pay Per Call Flexi" which is one step ahead of Pay Per Call call because of its unique tariff of all local calls at 1 Rs and STD at 2 Rs for a duration of 5 minutes but if the call lasts for less than a minute then a standard rate of 25 paise for the 1st minute is applicable for both local and std calls.
Tata Teleservices Limited today launched a new value added service ‘Push 4 All Mail’, for all its Tata Indicom and Tata DOCOMO customers that will offer personalised email service on SMS. ‘Push 4 All Mail’ will enable Indicom and DOCOMO customers to access their Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo emails on any type of handset via SMS.
Tata Teleservices Limited and Research In Motion (RIM) today launched the BlackBerry Tour, a 3G enabled smartphone equipped with world phone capability, priced at Rs 27,990. The new BlackBerry Tour is a state-of-the-art smartphone providing users with an enhanced communications experience. It allows customers to stay seamlessly connected - across town and around the world - with support for high-speed CDMA networks in India and UMTS/HSPA (2100Mhz) and quad-band EDGE/GPRS/GSM networks abroad.
