Tata Indicom launches SMS Alert & services of "FaceBook" on its Mobile Service. TATA Indicom customers can now update their Facebook status by just sending an SMS to the short code 51555.
Users who had logged in their Facebook account today must have seen a notification that “Facebook is now available via SMS”. User can get Notifications for friend request, pokes, wall posts, messages etc through SMS. User can instantly take action for accepting friend’s requests or replying to the wall posts by replying to the same SMS. User can select which when & how many notifications should be sent to them.

- Enter your phone number, select Tata Indicom & click on Activate
- You’ll get a PIN through SMS, enter this as confirmation code.
- Done! Now SMS as much as you can!

- Facebook on SMS is available on ALL the handsets.

Are you a TATA Indicom Postpaid customer? If yes then be happy coz TATA Indicom has recently introduced a new feature for its customers on its website www.tataindicom.com. This feature assisst a TATA Indicom pospaid subscriber to choose Best Tariff Plan based on the usage. For using this feature you must have a online account with tataindicom.com. If you dont have one then, visit www.tataindicom.com and make one.For activating this feature please follow the instructions below :
- Feature has been added under ‘My account’ option on Tata indicom website. Once customer has logged on to his/her account, customer can select ‘My Plan’ option under ‘Account setup’ where customer can select the option to view recommended customized plan.
- Once customer clicks on the link the request ID is generated and published on the window displayed.
- Customer is requested to revisit after 48hrs.
- After 48hrs customer can click on request ID link to view the description on 'Best recommended plan'
The recommendation is based on considering customer’s usage in maximum of his last 3 bills. The top 5 tariff plans and top 5 on-net add on packs are fed into the system to calculate the best fit tariff plan. When customer’s request is executed in backend, customer’s usage in latest bills is recalculated with top 5 plan tariff rates and compared. The lowest amongst all is recommended to the customer. The tariff rates of the recommended plan will be displayed on the same window for customer’s better understanding. Customer will have to raise tariff plan change request separately through the same link or contact customer touch points.

TATA Indicom has launched new Handset offer. This offer is tagged as 'Bade Dilwala offer'. Under this offer one will get 1500 minutes of local talktime on purchase of Samsung Raga Handset worth Rs. 1499. The customer will have to opt for a Tata Indicom Post-paid connection. The 1500 free minutes can be utilized for making on net as well as off net calls. Thus these 1500 minutes can be used for making calls on all local networks. The 1500 minutes will be given to the customer as 500 minutes per month for first three months from the date of activation. The unutilized minutes left at the end of the month cannot be carried forward to the next month. The free local minutes cannot be utilized while roaming.
- The benefit is for three months and NOT for three billing cycles.
- The offer is not applicable on Tata Lifetime plan and Get More ARP 999 plan.

Tata Indicom has announced the launch of pre-paid top-up and post-paid bill payment services on SMS, powered by mCheck. Tata Indicom subscribers can now use this service by sending an SMS ‘PAY TATA’ to 59909 from their TATA Indicom mobile phones. The payment can be made using any valid credit card issued by any bank in India, be it a VISA or a Mastercard.
To use the service, subscribers will send an SMS, “PAY TATA”, to 59909 from their Tata Indicom mobile phone and will receive an automated call back on the phone to register their credit card and approve the transaction. The transaction is approved by using the 6-digit mChek PIN number which the user creates on the phone, and this is not shared with anyone else. Subscribers can pay their post-paid bills or recharge their pre-paid accounts with this service and an SMS receipt is sent to the phone on completion of the transaction. TATA Indicom subscribers can also recharge and pay bills of their friends and family members using this service.
Quick Steps for Bill Payment
Step 1: Customer sends the SMS ‘PAY TATA ’ to 59909
Step 2: Customer gets an automated call-back from mChek, and enters 6-digit mChek PIN
Step 3: Transaction is completed and an SMS receipt is sent to user. The payment information is updated on the Tata Indicom system
