The new BlackBerry Tour is a state-of-the-art smartphone providing users with an enhanced communications experience. It allows customers to stay seamlessly connected - across town and around the world - with support for high-speed CDMA networks in India and UMTS/HSPA (2100Mhz) and quad-band EDGE/GPRS/GSM networks abroad.

Tata Indicom Introduces Pay Per Call Flexi Plan

tata-indicom PAY PER SECOND FLEXI PLANTata Indicom today announced the launch of ‘Pay Per Call Flexi Plan’, an offer that takes the revolutionary ‘Pay Per Call’ concept to a whole new level.

Under the ‘Pay Per Call Flexi Plan’, you can make local or STD calls at Re 1 and Rs 2, respectively, for a standard call of 5 minutes. If, however, you make a call for less than one minute, you will be charged  25 paise per minute for both local and STD calls. The product also offers all roaming calls at 50 paise per minute.

New customers can avail this plan by buying a starter pack of Rs 99, while existing subscribers can opt for the offer with a one-time recharge of Rs 51.

The ‘Pay Per Call Flexi Plan’ offers SMS at 50 paise for both national and local messages. The offer is valid on all calls made by Tata Indicom subscribers to any mobile phone or land line connection, across all networks. The offer has a validity of one year. Daily rental of Rs 1 per day is applicable.

TATA Teleservices added highest number of subscribers 5th time in a row

tata-teleservices-logoTata Teleservices Limited emerged as the Number One telecom operator in the country for the fifth consecutive month in December, in terms of new subscriber additions, adding more than 3.3 million subscribers in the month.

Tata Teleservices Limited has added 3,336,476 new subscribers in December 2009 from its CDMA and GSM operations put together. In November 2009 too, TTSL had showed a healthy growth in new additions, with 3,329,215 new subscribers being added.

Both prepaid and postpaid users can now access their personal mail accounts, social networking sites, download various chat accounts and do much more with the phone. Using prepaid recharge vouchers subscribers can now access internet anytime anywhere with recharge option of Rs 28. There are 3 different recharge denominations Rs 28 will allow customers to access internet at flat 50 paise per MB throughout the day.While RCV 152 offers price point of 50 paise per MB from 7.00 AM to 11.00 PM and a special night surfing plan of 25 paise per MB from 11.00 PM to 7.00 AM. A very aggressive RCV of 351 will offer data surfing flat at just 25 paisa per MB throughout the day. The recharge validity is 30 days from the day of recharge.

Tata Teleservices Leads in New Subscriber Additions in November

tata-teleservicesTata Teleservices Limited has emerged as the Number One telecom operator in the country for the forth consecutive month in November, in terms of new subscriber additions, adding more than 3.3 million subscribers in the month. Nnearest competitor of TTSL managed to add just over 2.8 million subscribers in the same period, a gap of nearly half a million subscribers.

Tata Teleservices Limited has added 3,329,215 new subscribers in November 2009 from its CDMA (Tata Indicom) and GSM operations (TATA DOCOMO), put together. In October 2009 too, TTSL added 3,867,725 new subscribers.
