Tata DOCOMO, the GSM Brand of TATA Teleservices Ltd has launched its Mobile Services in Punjab.Tata DOCOMO is already present in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Orissa, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Mumbai, Kolkata Rest of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh,Haryana and Jharkhand.

Tata DOCOMO SIM card is available at Rs. 49. It comes with life time validity.

Details of Prepaid Tariff:-

* All local calls - 1p/sec
* All STD calls - 2p/sec [First 450 minutes of the STD calls during a month will be charged at 1p/sec]
* Local SMS - 60 paise
* National SMS - Rs. 1.20
* First 2 SMS of the day charged and thereafter 100 Local SMS free for the day

TATA DOCOMO has launched its postpaid services in Kolkata. Tata DOCOMO postpaid services offer a unique proposition that allows subscribers to customize plans based on individual usage.

Tata DOCOMO post-paid service will have a per-second pulse on STD calls; and on Local calls there will be per second or a per two seconds pulse. Post-paid offerings will allow subscribers to customize plans with any of the free toppings available on local and STD calls, as well as SMS, depending on individual usage pattern.

People living in Kolkata have now one more Telecom Operator to choose from. Tata DOCOMO has launched its mobile services in Kolkata. Tata DOCOMO is already present in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Orissa, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Mumbai, Rest of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh and Haryana.

Tata DOCOMO SIM is available at Rs. 49. It comes with lifetime validity and no intial talktime.

Its now cheaper to make calls with Tata DOCOMO. All local calls can be made at the rate of 1p / 2 seconds. Yes thats right Pay just 1 paise for 2 seconds. To enjoy these lower local calling rates you need to buy a RCV of Rs. 45. It comes with a validity of 30 days.

This information is not yet available on Tata DOCOMO's website yet. Also there is no official word about this plan from the company. I have confirmed that this plan is available in Kerala., not sure about other circles, so if you from state other than Kerala please call your Customer Care no. and ask them about the availability. DO INFORM US via Comments or Contact Us form if this plan is available in your circle.

Update : Krisha Prasad From Andhra Pradesh infromed us that its not yet available in Andhra Circle.

Tata DOCOMO launches GSM services in Haryana

TATA DOCOMO today announced the commercial launch of its operations in the Haryana. Tata DOCOMO has already launched its services in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Orissa, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Mumbai, Rest of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh. Tata DOCOMO was testing its services in Haryana since August 25th. Tata DOCOMO is providing Prepaid connection at Rs. 49. It comes with lifetime validity.

All local calls to any mobile or landline can be made at 1p/sec.
All STD calls to any mobile or landline can be made at 2p/sec.

A lot of hype and buzz was created about TATA DOCOMO's unlimited GPRS packs. However they have rolled back their Unlimited GPRS Packs. They are not providing unlmited GPRS anymore.

Details of New GPRS Packs :

Rs. 15 Pack comes with 3 days validity and provides free data usage of 20 MBs
Rs. 95 Pack comes with 30 days validity and provides free data usage of 100 MBs.

TATA DOCOMO has rolled back Unlimted GPRS Plan in just 1 week of its launch. However there is no official word yet about it from the company.
