Tata DOCOMO launches "Just 2 Simple" offer in Maharashtra

In a bid to provide more to subscribers,Tata DOCOMO has come up with a new plan for subscribers in Mumbai,Maharashtra and Goa - "Just 2 Simple" offer.This plan allows all local and STD calls to Tata numbers for as low as 1 paise/2 seconds and Local and STD calls to any network at 5 paise/6 seconds.This plan is available for Rs.79 for new subscribers and Rs.71 for existing subscribers and comes with a validity of 4 months for new and 5 months for existing subcribers.Following are the tariff details:
Cost:- Rs.79 for new and Rs.71 for existing customers.
Validity:- 4 months for new customers,5 months for existing customers.
Plan:-
All Local and STD Tata calls at 1 paise/2 seconds (Effective calling rate of 30 paise/min).
All Local and STD calls to any network at 5 paise/6 seconds (Effective calling rate of 50 paise/min).
There wont be any change in sms rates.
This offer is good for subscribers having high On-net usage.With Buddynet rental being 60 paise/day(Rs.18/month),this offer will attract customers who need to call on either Tata CDMA or Virgin numbers.

Recently I bought a TATA DOCOMO SIM Card to try out its GPRS. The tariff which TATA DOCOMO is offering is quite good. All outgoing local calls can be made at 1p/sec and outgoing STD calls can be made at 1p/sec for first 450 minutes every month, thereafter tariff of 2p/sec is applicable. Local, National and International SMS are charged at Rs. 0.60, RS. 1.20 and Rs. 5 respectively. After first SMS of the day I get 200 local + national SMSes free.

- GPRS Pack of Rs. 5 offers 10 MB free usage till midnight on the day of recharge
- GPRS Pack for Rs 15 allows subscribers to avail 500MB free usage with a validity of 3 days
- GPRS pack for Rs. 33 is a night pack designed to cater to night surfers that offers free usage of 1GB for 30 days from 11pm to 7am.
- GPRS pack available at Rs. 48 offer free usage upto 2GB for 30 days
- GPRS pack for Rs. 95 provides subscribers free data usage of 6GB for 30 days

TATA DOCOMO has introduced Pay-Per-Second & Pay-Per-Minute Combo Plan in Kolkata and West Bengal. It offers both Pay-Per-Minute and Pay-Per-Second tariff options with a single recharge. To avail of this exciting new offer, new subscribers will have to recharge with a Recharge Voucher of Rs 24, which will entitle them to a talktime of Rs 10, while existing TATA DOCOMO subscribers will simply have to recharge with a voucher of Rs 21, which will also entitle them to a talktime of Rs.10 to avail of the new Pay Per Second and Pay Per Minute tariffs.The recharge offers local and STD calls to any network at 45 paisa for 60 seconds, wherein the first 45 seconds of talk-time will be charged at 1 paisa per sec and the next 15 seconds will be free for each consecutive minute. SMS charges for new customers using the Rs 24 RCV will be 60 paise for the first local and Re 1.20 for the first National SMS, after which 200 SMS—local or national—will be free for 90 days from date of recharge. The existing customers recharging with a value of Rs 21 can avail the same calling benefits but existing SMS benefit will continue. The offer is applicable from the date of recharge for a period of one year.

Update : TATA DOCOMO has not officially announced launch of its Mobile Services in Vadodara, Ahmedabad and Jamnagar. SIM Cards are not yet available at all the places. We will keep you posted so stay tuned.
Here is some Good news for those who want to switch to TATA DOCOMO in Vadodara, Ahmedabad and Jamnagar. TATA DOCOMO, the GSM arm of TATA Teleservices which had launched its services in Gujarat few months back is now available in the 3 cities - Vadodara, Ahmedabad and Jamnagar. At the time of its launch in Gujarat, services were not made available in these 3 cities due to non-release of spectrum.
TATA DOCOMO SIM Card is available at Rs. 49. It comes with lifetime validity.

TATA DOCOMO, the GSM brand of Tata Teleservices Limited , has launched an innovative Value-Added Service ‘MY SONG’ for all post-paid and pre-paid mobile subscribers across India. The unique service, introduced for the first time in the country, is a reverse ring-back tone facility, wherein the caller gets to hear the tune that he sets for himself, instead of listening to the conventional tring-tring, or caller tunes set by the called party.For subscribing to My Song service, customers can dial 543217 and personalize songs of their choice of different genres such as Bollywood Hits, Regionals, International, Classical and Funny Tunes. As an additional benefit, subscribers can set a maximum of up to three different songs for calling different people. To access this service, subscribers will be charged 2 paise per second and the subscription charges will be Rs 15 for a period of 30 days for Rs 10 per song download for both post-paid and pre-paid subscribers.
Once the My Song service is activated, a user can keep a tab of all details of the service on the fly. Songs downloaded will be subscriber’s personal selection and will be played as a shuffle.
