Tata Docomo announces ‘Roam Free’ Plan for GSM and CDMA Pre-paid customers

Tata Docomo has today announced the launch of Roam Free plan for its existing and new GSM and CDMA pre-paid customers. With this, customers recharging with Rs 46 get free incoming roaming anywhere across the country on Tata Docomo’s network.
All calls in home zone will be charged at 1.2paise/second. The validity period for this plan will be 60 days.

Tata DOCOMO has launched a new product for its customers to enjoy long calling on their network. The new RCV 123 is the latest offering by the company for its CDMA and GSM pre-paid subscribers.
The RCV allows customers to talk for 20 hours in a day on local Tata network (Tata DOCOMO CDMA, GSM, Virgin Mobile and T24) from 10 PM to 6 PM till 30 days. The call charges for rest four hours in the day (between 6 PM to 10 PM) will be just 1 paisa/ 6 seconds. The RCV is priced at Rs.123.

A new Android gaming subscription service has been announced by Tata DOCOMO. “Let’s Play on Android” is a unique service for Tata DOCOMO Android mobile phones users which has been launched in collaboration with Gametanium application which gives access to premium games on Android platform.

Tata DOCOMO has launched and announced a new unlimited plan for its Photon Max customers in Mumbai.
With this plan, existing and new post-pay Tata DOCOMO Photon Max customers will get flat bill cap of Rs 1000/- every month under which they can utilize 3GB data at up to 6.2 mbps (downlink) speed. Post 3GB, speeds will be capped at up to 153.6 Kbps.

Tata DOCOMO has announced a new song search service for its GSM and CDMA customers called Grab a Song. This service offers customers access to a massive music library of over 400,000 songs in 20 languages, any of which can be set as their ‘Call Me’ tune.
To activate the service is as follows: When a Tata DOCOMO customer hears a song he/she likes anywhere, all he/she has to do is dial 57878 and hold the phone near the speaker of the source of the sound, be it a TV, laptop, music system, car stereo, in a cinema hall and so on. As soon as the customer does this, voice recognition software at the back-end will match the song’s availability in the Tata DOCOMO ‘Call Me Tune’ database and identify it from within the vast collection. Within 30 seconds, the customer will receive an SMS confirming the activation of the service and the song details, including the movie or album it is from, and the name of the singer(s).
