Nokia Public Transport app updates to v2.0.3, supports Symbian S60 5th (Symbian^1) devices

Nokia Public Transport app has been a nice product from the Finnish giant which helps users to Search for public transport stations/stops, addresses and POIs, Choose from multiple routes and follow the list of directions for buses, trams, underground or trains, Get earlier/later journeys, See on the map how to walk to/from your station and more.
Nokia has over its Nokia Beta Labs updated the Nokia Public Transport to version 2.0.3 with a few new features and improving the app. The best part of the version 2.0.3 is that the app now goes on to support older Symbian S60 5th (Symbian^1) devices. Until now it was only available for Symbian^3 and above devices.

Evernote, the popular note taking and archiving application is available on every platform known to human except for the burning Symbian OS. We really wonder as to what has kept the developers skip Symbian given that the platform still holds a great number of user base and bringing the app will be beneficial to both the users and makers of Evernote.
But anyways, we always have an alternative for any popular app and here comes in the Notekeeper, which has all features offered by Evernote like taking notes, capture pictures, create lists of things to do and record memos, syncing for free content on the web.

Good news coming in for Nokia (Symbian) users. Viber has announced that the app will be available for Nokia devices running on Symbian OS very soon.
Viber is an app which is currently available for Android and iOS users and it allows users to call and text other Viber users for free.

Last month at Mobile World Congress Opera released an update to the Opera Mobile and graduated it to version 12. The Opera Mobile 12 Build 2143 had loads of bugs which many users faced.

New update for Skype arrives on Symbian

While people are waiting for Skype on Windows Phone, the company has released a new update for their app on the Symbian platform.
Version 2.1.23 is now live for all Symbian^3 devices and weighs about 7MB in size. While there is no official change-log available, we can confirm that the app supports Nokia Belle devices (701,700,600,603) as well. The app earlier wasn’t supported by Belle, and it seems that the new update does the trick.

Whatsapp for Symbian updates, brings homescreen widget and performance fixes

After updating on the Windows Phone platform, the cross-platform messenger Whatsapp has been update for Symbian devices. The update is said to bring in performance improvements and a new homescreen widget.
The update is about 3.3mb in size and bumps the update version to v2.6.61,

The Nokia Social app has been finally updated with some crucial fixes and features. The new update brings in improved Facebook and Twitter handling and functionality, new widgets, and the app itself now has a more Belle like look.
The app was earlier spotted in various Nokia banners with the new widgets and features but Nokia didn't seem to deliver until now.
