Back in September Samsung announced that all bada running Wave devices will receive the bada 2.0 upgrade in Q4 2011, but now it seems that the date has been shifted to Q1 2012.

Samsung Spain has confirmed that the bada 2.0 update will reach users in Q1 2012, also contradicting Samsung Italy's previous claims that the update will come in Q2 2012 (So this news is good). The update will reach all Wave devices excpet Wave 525 and Wave 533. There is no specific date of availability but users can expect the upgrade by January-February 2012.

Just a few days back we told you that Samsung is planning not to bring Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade to Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab due to issues with the TouchWiz UI and lower RAM and ROM limitations.

As we are getting near to the Mobile World Congress (MWC) which is scheduled for February 2012, we are hearing more rumours about upcoming devices. And this time around it is being said that Samsung may announce a probable Galaxy S III, the successor to its most successful Galaxy S II at the MWC.


This is being speculated because it was at MWC 2011 that Samsung had unveiled the S II.

According to sources a new Gingerbread build for the Samsung Galaxy SII I9100 is already rolling out in India. The update is said to be available via Samsung Kies, no news on OTA update, so it means it's only available via the pc software.

The new build is said to bring in bug fixes and better support for Indic languages. There isn't any other info about the update nor any change-log is given as of yet.

Love the Galaxy S II? How about a dual-SIM version of it? Well Samsung has just released the Samsung I929 Galaxy S II Duos which is a dual-SIM, dual-mode in China over the China Telecom's network.

Samsung recently had made a declaration about its ICS plans with a list of devices that will receive the next Android 4.0 update. While some jumped with joy, others were disappointed, like the owners of the Galaxy S and the Galaxy Tab (7-inch) as the list did not include these devices.

A week back we reported that Samsung was planning to launch Galaxy Y Pro Duos dual-SIM handset and now we see Samsung making the handset official by launching two handsets in the Galaxy Duos series.
The Galaxy Y Duos is a full screen dual-SIM handset running on an 832 GHz processor. The Duos features a 3.14 inch QVGA (243 x 320) touchscreen, runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, has a three megapixel camera at the rear, is HSDPA capable and has a microSD slot which will allow users to expand the memory up to 32GB. Galaxy Y Duos also features ChatON, which is Samsung's cross-platform communication service. Also users can also stay connected through Social Hub, which supports email, social network integration and instant messaging, displaying all of your communication in a single inbox.

Yes! Finally Samsung has officially announced the list of devices that'll be the few lucky ones to get the most awaited Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS upgrade.

Samsung who has secured a safe and handsome market share with its Galaxy range of devices is now offering a range of free games for the Galaxy devices. Samsung apps is offering up to 12 free games for the Galaxy Note which include Air Penguin, Air Attack HD, Riptide GP, Samurai 2, Grow, Paladog, Sprinkle and more.

Whereas the Galaxy S and Galaxy S II devices can download about 16 free games and have great fun. The free games include Air Penguin, Air Attack HD, Riptide GP, Samurai 2, Grow, Guru Planet, Bubble Fish, Trial Xtreme, Paladog, Sprinkle and more. Also the Galaxy Ace and Gio will get Air Penguin as a free game.
Samsung files another patent infringement case against Apple in Germany

And they are back again, in court of law of course! The legal battle between Samsung and Apple is here to grab some more eyeballs. And this time it is Samsung who has accused Apple for infringing four of its patents and has filed a fresh case in Germany on December16.


According to Samsung, a case has been registered with the Mannheim regional court against Apple accusing the Cupertino based company for allegedly infringing patents held by Samsung related to telecommunication and user interface.
