It come with inbuilt Google Mobile Services. It features an 800 MHz processor, 3.2” HVGA TFT full touch-screen, 3G and WiFi connectivity.The new Galaxy SPICA offers social networking with location based GPS tagging, allowing users to update their location status as they interact with friends and peers in the social networking space. Samsung today strengthened its Dual Sim portfolio in India by announcing the launch of its first Dual SIM (GSM+GSM) Touch Screen phone - B5722. The new Samsung B5722 is priced at Rs. 11,680. It allows users to pre- set the SIM change-over time automatically, depending on economical operator tariffs or actually ensuring a Work Life Balance with the help of your phone. Apart from the regular calling and texting with a Dual SIM advantage in a Touch Screen Phone, this handset provides the added benefit of one touch access through 6 SNS widgets on the home screen. The phone also offers instant messaging services through Palringo messenger which helps you to connect to Google Talk, AIM, ICQ and supports exchange of text messages through Bluetooth Messenger.
Samsung has expanded its Corby Family by launching the Samsung corby POP in India. Corby POP boasts a 2.4 inch touch screen, it has 1.3 MP camera with 4X Zoom.
Samsung has announced a sleek, tactile new mobile phone range - Shark. The first devices in the range, the candy bar Shark (S5350) and slider phones, devices Shark 2 (S5550) and Shark 3 (S3550), will be available in next few weeks. Price details are not yet disclosed.
Samsung has launched Metro 5200 in the Indian market. The new handset is a 10.9mm slim slider phone and is available in dual tone colour, The ergonomic phone design. The Metro 5200 is priced at Rs. 7439.
Samsung has launched Corby Speed, its first touch screen mobile handset on the CDMA platform with high speed mobile broadband capability. Samsung Corby Speed gives data speed of up to 2.4Mbps for Hi Speed Internet Surfing and downloads on the phone. Samsung has launched this phone in the Open market and it supports full Service (Voice + Data) across all CDMA operators OMH SIM Cards like Tata Indicom , Reliance Mobile, MTS and Virgin Mobile , with the latter set to launch their OMH Cards in January’10. Samsung had launched the World’s First OMH Handset, Samsung Mpower 699 in the Indian market in August this Year. Following the launch of Samsung Mpower 699, Corby Speed is the second CDMA phone from Samsung that is being launched on the OMH platform.
