Samsung Galaxy S Advance poses for the camera in the wild

Just 5 days back, Samsung had announced the Galaxy S Advance and the device have already been caught in the wild posing for the camera. From the pictures that have popped up, we can definitely see a little change in design which now seems to be a mixture of the Galaxy S and the Galaxy Nexus.

Rounding up the specs of the S Advance, the device features a 1GHz dual-core processor, a 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display with curved glass design, Android 2.3 OS, 14.4Mbps HSPA, 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 720p video playback and recording, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, 8 or 16B of internal memory, 768MB of RAM, FM Radio, microSD card slot and a 1500mAh battery.

New unnamed ICS running Samsung device leaks, Real or fake?

So Eldar Murtazin, the mobile industry insider is at it again. He is well known for inside scoops about the latest happening and now he has posted a picture over his Twitter account, which is a new Samsung device running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on-board but is still unnamed.

From the picture the device looks very much similar to all the previously launched Samsung devices in 2011 and is closer to the Galaxy S II but this is definitely not the S III as Samsung has already announced that it’ll not reveal the S III in Barcelona later this month.

Champ Deluxe Duos by Samsung arrives in India for Rs. 4,790

Continuing its affordable Champ series of handsets, Samsung has today announced the launch of the Samsung Champ Deluxe Duos, its latest Dual SIM phone. The Champ Deluxe Duos (C3312) has a 2.8 inch display which is the largest touch screen in its class.

Samsung may unveil Galaxy S II Plus soon (MWC?)

So yesterday we learnt that Samsung will not showcase the Galaxy S III at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February. And now we get to know that Samsung maybe following into Apple’s foot-steps and may unveil a mid-way successor to the S II namely the Galaxy S II Plus, just as it happened in the case of iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S.

According to the benchmark results the Galaxy S II Plus is running Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread on-board, has a WVGA display and a CPU clocking at 1.5GHz. So this is indeed an upgrade from the current CPU of the S II which clocks at 1.2 GHz.

Samsung confirms that Galaxy S III will give MWC a miss, to arrive by mid-2012

So finally settling all the rumours surrounding the revelation of the Galaxy S III flagship device, Samsung has confirmed in a statement to TechRadar  that, the Korean company will be at the Mobile World Congress sans the S III.

Samsung in the statement said,  “Samsung is looking forward to introducing and demonstrating exciting new mobile products at Mobile World Congress 2012. The successor to the Galaxy S2 smartphone will be unveiled at a separate Samsung-hosted event in the first half of the year, closer to commercial availability of the product. Samsung stays committed to providing the best possible mobile experiences for customers around the world.”

Samsung to reveal Galaxy Tab 11.6?

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab range is set to get even more exciting with a 11.6 inch Galaxy Tab. The tablet could actually make its debut at the Mobile World Congress next month. The tablet might also feature a 2 GHz processor and 2560 x 1600 WXQGA resolution. While we wait with hands on our hearts for the S III, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 11.6 s what we might end up seeing.

This also raises a question: How big a tablet do we really need? Is  10.1-inches enough or should we dare to go bigger? Personally, I think if tablets are to replace laptops ever, they would need apart from a great OS, a keyboard and at least a 13-inch/15-inch screen.

Samsung Galaxy S Advance on its way with better design and processor

And now there is another addition to the Galaxy S family with the Samsung GT-I9070 appearing in leaks. According to the source, the device will be known as the Samsung Galaxy S Advance when it officially arrives and it definitely has some advanced specs compared to that of the Galaxy S but a little lower when it comes to the S II.

The Samsung Galaxy S Advance will be having a curved glass and a thinner body. With this it will run on a 1GHz dual-core processor and sport a 4-inch Super AMOLED WVGA (800×480) display.

Samsung to produce Dual-Core 2GHz Exynos 5250 SoC in Q2

News is coming in that Samsung has confirmed that it will mass producing its Exynos 5250 chipset from second quarter of this year.  The SoC has a dual-core processor which clocks at 2GHz packing in two Cortex-A15 chips.

The chip also supports WQXGA (2560×1600) display resolution and is said to offer four times better graphics as compared to a Cortex-A9 SoC.

RUMOUR: Galaxy S III delayed, not coming until summer

And amongst all the Galaxy S III rumours, heart-breaking reports are flowing in which suggest that Samsung might be thinking of skipping the showcase of the Galaxy S III flagship device which was suppose to take place at the Mobile World Congress in February.

If reports are to be believed Samsung is planning has changed its mind because it is learning from its past mistakes and has decided to avoid the gap between the global and US launch of the S III as it happened with the S II last year. At that time Samsung didn’t realise the power of the S II and thus the its launch was done at a later period in the US as compared to the global launch. And with Samsung betting all is money on the S II with aggressive marketing, there are a lot of expectations that have built up from the S III.
