s-tel-logoS Tel today announced the launch of its GSM services in the North Eastern states - Tripura, Nagaland, and Meghalaya. Starting with towns including Agartala, Dimapur, Udaipur, Kumarghat, Ranir Bazar, Chumukedima, Jowai ,Nongpoh ,S Tel is planning to expand its services so as to reach across 87 towns & over 26% of the population in the states by year end. S Tel is already present in one of the North East states Assam, where it commeneced its service in the month of July.

Consumers availing this plan will be informed through an SMS regarding the FREE minutes available to him/her every day. Alternatively, customers can also check their free local balance at any point by dialing *118# from their mobile phones. The offer comes with a validity of 6 months.

stel-red-logoS Tel, a joint venture between Siva Group and Bahrain Telecommunications Company (Batelco), today announced the launch of its GSM services in Assam starting with 26 key towns including Gaurisagar, Nazira, Golaghat, Numaligarh, Hojai, Doboka, Lumding, Lanka, Diphu, Howraghat, Mangaldoi, Barpeta Road and Bilasipara . The company will shortly be expanding its wings to the remaining cities of Assam and other North East states including Meghalaya, Tripura, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur and Arunanchal Pradesh.
