Reliance Communications reduces Netconnect Wireless Broadband rates in Tamil Nadu

Reliance Communications has announced a drop in the prices of its Netconnect broadband device to make high speed broadband connection affordable. The move is aimed at making its EVDO based data services more popular to the public as entry cost has now come down to an affordable level. The price of the dongle has been reduced from Rs. 1599 to Rs.1299 for the USB dongle/data card and the first recharge (FRC) from Rs. 330 to Rs. 100. All in all, customer price including the first recharge has come down from Rs. 1929 to Rs. 1399. The Netconnect 1x customer MOP has also dropped to Rs 999.

This offer is available across 175 towns in Tamil Nadu where consumers will enjoy an 18 percent discount on the dongle and 69 percent discount on the first recharge together with 5GB data and a validity of 30 days. Reliance Communications is aggressively expanding in Tamil Nadu and has added more than 100 sites in the last one month. The High speed Datacard of Reliance Communications has the largest reach in South India.

Reliance Communication and SBI launch Mobile Banking Service

Reliance Communication has joined hands with India’s biggest bank, State Bank of India and has launched Mobile Banking Service for its subscribers. Subscribers can avail facilities like balance inquiry, mini statement, fund transfer, cheque book issuance, mobile recharge and bill payment using their cell phones.

To use the Mobile Banking Service, subscribers only require an active current or savings account with SBI. They have to register for the services with SBI and then have to dial *595# to view simple menu choices and key-in their choice. Subscribers will be able to view account balance, get mini statements, do Fund Transfer, change MPIN or recharge their mobile account.

Reliance Communications launch new customer engagement program in Karnataka

A new program has been launched by Reliance Communication called ‘Reliance First’ for their users in Karnataka. It is basically a customer engagement program which will aim at interacting with customers, customers can also use this opportunity to pay their bills, recharge their account, submit their customer application form and in addition, get their CDMA handsets upgraded, serviced etc and discuss any other customer service issues.

Reliance gets you closer to celebrities with its new service ‘Star Talk’

It gives a chance for the fans to get close and personal with their favourite Stars. The service will allow a select group of callers at a time to connect with the celebrity for a live conversation. Every caller will be prompted in advance and given equal time to interact with their favourite star through the IVR. The celebrity will have an option of managing the call by extending the time or move to next customer.

Reliance Communication has taken up Indian celebrities including leading Bollywood Stars, Directors, Regional Stars, Sport Stars and Singing Sensations to launch first-of-its-kind voice-based mobile Chat service. Reliance Communication reduces its internet rates
