This may prove to be a major point of success for Nokia, but it is to be noted that currently Windows Phone 7.5 Mango doesn’t have support for LTE.

Here are two cool new features that the official iOS 5 change-log never listed. The iOS 5 features a panaroma mode for the camera and also an Android like auto-correct option to correct those typing errors by selecting a list of words that you can select. Neat, eh? But why don’t you have it? Well that’s because it is hidden.
You can enable these two features without the need of a jailbreak or any other tethering.

It seems that Mobile number portability (MNP) in India has been a complete failure. The number of requests received for MNP since November 2010 (launch date) has been 18.1 million till the month of August 2011. This accounts to just 2% of India's wireless base of 865.71 million.

The 2% of MNP requests in India are said to be the lowest in the world. The months of March and August saw numbers fluctuate in from 2 to 2.6 million per month.

The 2% of MNP requests in India are said to be the lowest in the world. The months of March and August saw numbers fluctuate in from 2 to 2.6 million per month.
Surprisingly, most of the requests include shifting to bigger operators instead of smaller and new entrants. In other countries customers move from large operators to new entrants due to bad service or high call rates. This suggests that customers of new entrants are actually concerned that some of these licences could be cancelled owing to legal complications, or that they dislike their service/customer care or prices, and are therefore moving to safer bets such as Airtel, Vodafone, and Idea.
Even with a total of 97% subscribers on pre-paid plans, MNP has not been beneficial and has not met with its goals.

We have seen the Mali-T400 in action on the Galaxy SII and the next generation Mali-604 still in production, ARM has announced yet another chip called the Mali-T658, which has eight cores and promises up to 10 times more better graphical performance than the current T-400 chip.

The ARM Mali-T658 GPU supports a wide range of graphics and compute APIs, including Microsoft DirectX 11, Khronos OpenGL ES, OpenVG, Khronos OpenCL, Google Renderscript and Microsoft DirectCompute.

The Mali-T658 will also have 4 times more of the computing power than the current chip available and also enables nice compatibility with ARM’s ARMv8 architecture with big.LITTLE processing, which nicely allows the set to switch between chips to dynamically and achieve stunning power efficiency and performance even under strain. Even though the T-658 seems to be awesome and also manufacturers like Samsung, Fujitsu, Nufront and LG have already shown interest in it, it may not be out before 2013 when we’ll actually see the chip perform.
With other companies like Qualcomm and NVIDIA continuing to develop impressive chips, for example the 12-core Tegra 3 by NVIDIA, it will be interesting to see how the Mali T-658 will succeed when it finally materializes.
