According to sources Qualcomm is said to be working closely with Nokia for several devices across several launches. Qualcomm has a good future with Nokia as the handset manufacturer is strongly committing to Windows Phone.

Airtel and TATA get fined for violating ILD licence terms and conditions

The Telecom Ministry is said to have imposed a penalty of Rs 50 crore each on Bharti Airtel and Tata Communications for providing international private lease circuits to foreign company SingTel in violation of ILD licence terms and conditions.
Notices have been sent to both the companies for violating the terms and conditions of International Long Distance (ILD) licence, says the Department of Telecom (DoT).

Apple had recently launched an update to iOS 5 after customers of the iPhone 4S were having issues with the battery being drained quickly. While some report that the issue is solved, there are others who claim that they are still having problems.

Nokia maps updated to v3.8, brings improvements to all features

Nokia has released an Over-the-Air (OTA) update of Nokia Maps for all Symbian Anna and Belle running devices bringing it out of the beta testing. The v3.8 (105) brings in enhanced Drive Navigation like live traffic services and improved weather services.

You can now navigate by car or foot in 95 countries and also download the free country maps onto your device to save on data charges. The Belle update is being released via Nokia Store and the new version is 3.8.139.

The Motorola Razr has been making a buzz around the globe especially in the US (as the Droid Razr). Well, Verizon has been generous enough and has been giving away free upgrades to its existing Razr customers in the US.

Rovio, the developers of the one of the most played multi-platform game Angry Birds has opened an Angry Birds centric store in Helsinki, Finland which is the birth place of the game and also where Rovio’s headquarter is situated, so it had to be there.
