Facebook introduces Pages Manager App for iOS

Facebook pages have become a very integral part for all the owners who run them and thus understanding the importance of it, Facebook has today started rolling out a new app for iPhone users called the Pages Manager.
With this new app, iPhone users will be able to conveniently be able to manage all the pages that they are administrator to.

Samsung Electronics has announced today that it has begun producing the industry’s first four gigabit, low power double-data-rate 2 (LPDDR2) memory using 20 nm class technology. The new mobile DRAM (dynamic random access memory) chip, which went into mass production last month, is not only faster but is also lighter and provides longer battery life to mobile devices.

We do know about developers trying to post Android OS over to Nokia’s N9, but how about the BlackBerry PlayBook running on Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 OS? Well a YouTube user, Gamer109X from the Netherlands has posted a video of Windows Phone 7 running on the PlayBook.
From the looks of the video, it definitely seems to be genuine but then we just can’t assure if it is running on an emulator or on an actual Windows Phone 7 ROM.

Airtel 3G will now cost you less. The telecom operator has announced new 3G tariffs for its Prepaid and Postpaid subscribers.

Airtel has announced some really interesting 3G Plans, for instance its Prepaid customers can now pay Rs. 10 to enjoy 30 minutes of 3G services, valid for a day. Also it has reduced the default 3G rates from 10p/10KB to 3p/10KB, that's cool.

BSNL introduces 2G and 3G data plans for its Pantel Tablets

Back in February, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) introduced three new budget tablets in collaboration with Pantel, a Noida based tablet manufacturer. At that time we knew that the tablets would bring in special 2G and 3G plans especially for these tablets and today we have details on the plans for BSNL users in its Chennai and Tamil Nadu Telecom Circle.
BSNL users will be able to opt in for either a 2G or 3G plans as per their wish and tablet compatibilty and the SIM Card would be provided free of cost to all users who buy a Pantel Tablet.
Vodafone launches ‘Customer Experience Center’ for Enterprise customers

Vodafone has launched its first ever Customer Experience Center (CEC) for business customers in Mumbai. The center is an engagement facility designed to enable business customers to explore Vodafone’s communication solutions.

The Vodafone CEC is located at the corporate office of Vodafone Business Services in Mumbai, is spread over an area of 2,500 sq.ft and includes a suite of Total Communication Solutions comprising of Wireline and Mobility offerings.
Samsung ChatON app for Android updates with new UI and features

Samsung very own multi-platform messenger app, ChatON has been updated on the Android platform.


The new updated version includes an updated user interface and other new features including animated emoticons, application lock, buddy recommendations, and more. The app now also lets users easily find friends who are also using ChatON as the new version supports finding contacts through Facebook and Twitter.

With the Galaxy S III making a buzz around the globe, we are getting info that the smartphone will be headed to Japan with a slight different specification.
Instead of the quad-core Exynos chipset, the smartphone will be launched with a dual-core Snapdragon S4 chip and 2GB of RAM (did I hear LG?). The news comes from Japanese carrier NTT Docomo which will be launching the Galaxy S III as model SC-06D in the coming months.

According to sources in the telecom industry Bharti Airtel which became the first Indian Operator to successfully roll out its 4G services in Kolkata and Bengaluru is in talks with Qualcomm India to buy the company's 26% stake for Airtel’s 4G broadband venture.
It was previously rumoured that Airtel was in talks with Qualcomm for the 26% stake that is currently held by Global Holding Corp and Tulip Telecom for about $58 million, but the talks were put on hold as the grant of 4G license to Qualcomm went into a dispute with the Telecom Ministry.
Rumour: LG Display and AU Optronics pass Apple's certification tests for iPad Mini LCD Panel

A new report published in Taiwan's The Liberty Times, suggests that two display makers, the LG Display and AU Optronics have successfully passed Apple’s certifications tests of the LCD Panels that the Apple might go on to use in its 7.85 inch rumoured ‘iPad Mini’.
In the same report it is also being claimed that Radiant will go on to supply the backlit module for the iPad Mini whereas Nissha Printing would provide the thin-film sensor, dubbed as ‘G/F2’ to TPK Holding and Chimei Innolux that we heard about yesterday.
