Recently we saw Aircel and Airtel offering the Apple iPhone 4S at insane prices on pre-order. Today we have bumped into Aircel's website to find that the tariff plans for the handset are out.


Aircel claims that you can recover up to 50% of your iPhone 4S cost over a period of 2 years.
Motorola officially launches the Motorola RAZR in India

Motorola Mobility India Private Limited has officially launched the super-slim Motorola RAZR in India. The thin and lightweight smartphone has a spectacular design which includes sculpted glass face, diamond-cut aluminum accents and a vibrant 4.3-inch SUPER AMOLED Advanced display. The body is made out of KEVLAR fibre has splash-guard coating, and scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass for the display.

Motorola says that they've taken the DNA from the original RAZR and mixed in some Android goodness and created the new generation RAZR. The handset is not just a looker, it boasts a dual-core 1.2GHz processor with 1GB of RAM and Android 2.3.5 which can be upgraded to 4.0 when the update is available.

Micromax has today announced an Android smartphone called the A85 'SUPERFONE'. Yes the same smartphone which was doing rumours since the past few months.
The A85 is powered by a 1 GHz Dual Core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and runs Android 2.2 Froyo which can be upgraded to Gingerbread. The handset also has the capability to understand and respond to hand gestures, allowing to command over answering/ rejecting, scrolling Contacts, Gallery, Music player, Calendar and E Mail.

There have been successful hacks and porting of Android OS on a Windows Phone. For example the HTC HD2 was capable of running Android 2.2 and Windows Phone thanks to a dual-boot hack.

Well now we have a custom ROM made by XDA-Developers forum member and DFT (Dark Forces Team) developer Cotulla called the MAGLDR bootloader which has been successfully ported to the Samsung Focus.

No Flash for Ice Cream Sandwich, at least for now

As we all know that Adobe has declared that it is stopping the development and support for the Flash player, and now news coming in states that there will is no flash support in Android's latest Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

The lucky owners of Samsung Galaxy Nexus in UK are not as lucky as they thought when they got the device because they have reported that they are unable to play Flash content on their ICS running device.

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) has announced the closure of about 14 landline plan from 16-11-2011. Now users will not be able to opt for these landline plans.

Exynos 4412, first quad-core SoC from Samsung?

If you thought that Nvidia's Tegra 3 was the sole quad core chip until now, then you could be wrong as reports are coming in that Samsung is ready with its own version of quad-core SoC namely the Exynos 4412.
Samsung had recently revealed the Exynos 4212, a dual core ARM Cortex-A9 processor clocking at 1.5GHz; and now code from the Kernel Git page seems to confirm the existence of a certain Exynos 4412 SoC which is said to be a quad-core one. It's still ARM Cortex A9 and 1.5GHz but this time it has four cores.
MTNL introduces new landline plans in Delhi

With plan Freedom 495, MTNL will charge a monthly rental of Rs. 495 and with it, it is offering its users unlimited free calls to any MTNL number on its network in Delhi and Mumbai, with Rs 500 worth of free calling to other network. All other call charges are applicable at 90p/min.
