Samsung updates its Galaxy Tab 10.1, again

Samsung has yet again released a new update for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 to Android 3.2. Earlier the update that was released last week and it was having internet issues and users were facing Wi-Fi bugs.

Samsung claims that this time the update will not have any issues and should install and run without any issues or glitches.
Opera Mini's second largest user-base is India

According to reports by Opera, the Opera Mini browser's user-base in India ranks second amongst 22 countries and is ahead of the US and Europe. India crossed the one million mark of Opera Mini users back in March 2008 and reached the second largest Opera Mini user-base mark in August 2011.


The Opera Mini browser witnessed a data usage of nearly 180 million MB from India during the year. The current leader is Russia.
Users report about poor battery life of the Nokia Lumia 800

It has just been a few days since the Nokia Lumia 800 is available in the UK and users are already reporting battery drain issue with Nokia's first Windows Phone device.

The issue was reported first by a user mkr10001 on the Nokia support discussion page and he said, "I had it charged last night and when I got up in the morning it was down to 35% from just sitting there. I don't use it that much during the day but it seems to go down really fast. I'm currently at 47% and it estimates 1 hour left."

Idea Cellular has announced the launch of a range of 3G smartphones starting at Rs. 5,850 onwards in India to strengthen and promote 3G services in the country.

The new Idea smartphones can be opted by 2G users as well as 3G users. As a special introductory offer, Idea is offering data services worth Rs. 3,500 with Rs. 259 pack, along with the new 3G smartphones. So the smartphone which is priced at Rs. 5,850, Idea 3G user gets it for a value of Rs. 2,609. Likewise, the handset priced at Rs. 7,992 has a value of just Rs. 4,751 for Idea 3G users.

LG may unveil Nitro HD on December 1st

LG has sent out invites for an event where 'All will be revealed'. The event which is scheduled to take place in New York City on December 1st, can be where LG might show off, the rumoured Nitro HD, which is also known as the LG Optimus LTE.

Going in for the features of the Nitro HD, it is said to have a display resolution of 1280 x 720 and will have a 4.5 inch True HD IPS display with a ppi of 329. There's a 1.5GHz processor and 1GB of RAM. Android 2.3, an 8MP camera is on back while a 1.3MP front-facing camera allows for video calls. With 4G LTE connectivity onboard, LG Nitro HD will also run over HSPA+ network at speeds as high as 21Mbps.

Vodafone has launched the 'Sabarimala Pack' for its Lord Ayyappa devotees in Chennai. Subscribers of this pack can avail 30 minutes of free calling and access to special services such as caller tunes, ringtones, trivia and stories of Sabarimala.

We reported earlier about the issue where users of the Galaxy Nexus in the UK were facing the SAV-Ghost or Self Aware Volume Ghost issue in which the volume of the device automatically went down.
