TATA Indicom has launched a new Special Tariff voucher to bring down STD call rates to 50 paise / minute. This STV is priced at Rs. 8 and named aptly as 'Special Tariff Voucher 8'. It is available for all new and exisiting TATA Indicom Prepaid mobile subscribers across all the 22 telecom circles in the country. This special offer allows customers to make all STD calls at 50 paise per minute for 30 days. ‘STV 8’ is not applicable on plans like Pay Per Call, Pay Per Call Flexi, Pay Per Second, All 50 and Celebration plan. Also, this STV cannot be clubbed with any other voucher at the same point of time. This STV will only change STD tariffs; all other tariffs will be as per base profile. |

Idea cellular has come up with a new campaign called 'Idea Oongli Cricket', this summer. During this campaign question based on the events and happenings of the ongoing match of the day will be asked.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) today launched its 3G GSM mobile services in business city Vijayawada, Guntur, Prakasam and Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh telecom circle. BSNL 3G services allow telecom operators to offer Video calls, high-speed Internet with speed Up to 3.1 Mbps and various multi media services.

The Tata Photon+ service will be accessible via both USB Modems and Routers, catering to consumer and business segments. TATA Photon+ USB device is available at Rs. 2299.
Vodafone Essar today announced the launch of ‘Vodafone Star of the Match’ competition for the upcoming DLF IPL Season III. Through this competition, Vodafone provides an opportunity to all its customers to be seen on national television being honoured by the winning captain during the post match ceremony. The winning captain will present the ‘Star of the Match’ with a personally autographed match ball.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd has announced promotional tariff reduction for its EVDO postpaid unlimited plan. Earlier BSNL EVDO users who were using unlmited were paying Rs. 999 per month to avail unlmited download/upload but under this promotional offer all the existing customers and new customers can get the unlimited plan at Rs. 750 per month. Existing customers of BSNL of are using any plan other than unlimited plan can switch to unlimited plan to avail reduced tariff. The promotional offer is valid till 31st March 2010.
