Getit, India’s information search service has launched its local search app on the Blackberry. This new Application makes the searching for your favourite pizza or multiplex easy and instant by providing access to search information anytime and anywhere on your Blackberry.

The Application provides an appealing user experience via a rich, interactive and graphical interface. Jabra, a world leader in innovative Bluetooth solutions, has announced the launch and availability of its new, first-of-its-kind in-car speakerphone in India – the Jabra FREEWAY. It features a three-speaker system with full stereo, virtual surround sound capabilities, making. It can be used inside as well as outside the car for both calls and music as it can be connected with any 2 bluetooth devices simultaneously – a laptop, mobile phones, iPod, iPhone, iPad and even your Bluetooth enabled gaming consoles.

Jabra FREEWAY is HD voice ready; this ensures that your conversations sound as natural as if you are standing right next to the person you are talking to. As and when the mobile operators start offering high-definition (HD) voice on their networks, it shall be able to deliver clear HD voice with just a simple software upgrade.
The proprietary Noise Blackout Extreme technology enables advanced background noise cancellation using DSP (digital signal processing) for clear and loud in-car call sound in mono. It also has an automatic or intelligent power on and off feature which saves battery. The built-in motion sensor switches it on as and when you enter the car, one does not have to touch it to turn it on or off. If your phone is paired and within range it will tell you that it is connected. And when you leave the car, it will automatically power down after 5 minutes. Shaking the Jabra FREEWAY a little will also turn it on if the on/off slider is in the on position. It has 14 hours of talk time and up to 40 days of standby time.

Popular social networking site LinkedIn has updated its mobile site as well as its Android app to make it “Faster, Simpler and Better.”
The mobile site is said to be faster and will be providing a brand new HTML5 experience for use in any modern mobile web browser. The new app has also been improved and is faster across all features, ranging from search to reading your update stream
The app has been re-organized around the following 4 points:
- Updates: View updates from your network and top news from LinkedIn Today
- Inbox: You can view your invitations and messages in one place
- You: Access your profile, connections, share updates, and even more in the future

Symbian Anna update for N8 and E7 available on NaviFirm

Here is some sweet news for all Symbian fans. The Anna update for N8 and E7 is now available on Navifirm for download. This isn’t the official update, but for those who know their way through flashing and know how to handle handset ROMs, can surely download the firmware files and flash their handsets to enjoy the latest update. There is also news that some E7 owners are already getting update v22 through the Ovi Suite. This makes one thing clear that the Nokia servers are almost ready to launch the official update through the OTA and Ovi Suite.

Beetel enters the Android Tablet Market by launching its first tablet at Rs.9,999

Beetel Teletech has announced the launch of Beetel Magiq, a 7-inch Android 2.2 tablet for the Indian market. The tablet will be available in India at an MRP of Rs. 9999 and packs in various features. The Beetel Magiq with SIM calling feature has a 7 inch WVGA screen, 2 MP front and rear cameras, 8GB internal memory which is expandable to 16 GB, a 2200 mAh battery, WiFi and 3G. The tablet is powered by a 1GHz processor and will give access to thousands of apps from the Android Market.
