Angry Birds Rio and Angry Birds Seasons have both got new levels for you to enjoy. Rio has been updated with the new “Airfield Chase” episode. It includes 15 new levels, Apple as the hidden fruit and four new achievements. For the Seasons, the birds are visiting China for the Moon Festival in its newest level which includes 30 new levels and some more goodies.

The Rio update is now available for Android and Symbian while the Seasons update is now live for Android and iOS.

Nokia has been on with an innovating charging concept that enables cellphone users to charge their handsets via solar energy. The company has been researching and experimenting with the concept and is happy to get some positive results.Nokia had given the solar panel equipped handsets to people living and working in various parts of the world. From Polar Regions to the Baltic Sea to Kenya, the solar charging concept has shown some positive results.
Harnessing solar energy for cellphones is a great concept especially for developing countries and countries that have energy crisis. Being connected has become a priority in the present time and will remain to be a priority in the days to come. However, energy sources and alike will be depleted in the course of time, where this concept will prosper. Thumbs up for Nokia.

HTC has made two new Windows Phones (Mango) official, namely the HTC Titan and the Radar. The two have been in the news for quite some time now and it seems HTC couldn’t hide them from us anymore. Lenovo has announced the IdeaPad A1 tablet which is a 7 inch tablet running Android Gingerbread and boasts a 1GHz processor as well. The cost, $199 for the 8GB version, $249 for the 16GB version and $299 for the 32GB version. The tablet will come in a Wi-Fi only version, no 3G.

We earlier reported that Toshiba will be launching a new tablet with slim design. Well, there you go, it is now official. The AT200 Excite is the latest tablet offering by Toshiba which is being called as the slimmest tablet at just 7.7mm thickness. The Motorola Droid 2 has finally got the update it really needed. The new update brings in the Android version to 2.3.3 and is available OTA. The update however is only for the Droid 2, and not the Droid 2 Global.

MTS brings world’s first CDMA EV-DO Rev.B Phase II network to India

MTS India has created history by introducing the world’s first CDMA EV-DO Rev.B Phase II network to India. As a part of their first phase, the company will be launching the advanced Rev.B Phase II network in Jaipur followed by top metros and other cities across India.
To launch the new network, MTS India has introduced MBlaze Ultra which is a special dongle providing data download speeds of 9.8 megabytes per second. The launch event was organized in Delhi in presence of James Person, Chief Operating Officer – CDMA Development Group (CDG), Dr Avneesh Agrawal, President - Qualcomm India & South Asia and Vsevolod Rozanov President & CEO MTS India.
According to Vsevolod Rozanov, President & Chief Executive Officer, MTS India “MTS India has been credited for several industry firsts that has led us to stay a step ahead in terms of innovation. Adding to the list, I feel extremely proud to announce the coming in of the world’s first CDMA EV-DO Rev.B Phase II network to India. The commercial use of EV-DO Rev.B technology will greatly enhance the mobile broadband experience of MBlaze Ultra users. Compared to EV-DO Rev.B Phase I, the Phase II technology can further enhance the BTS cell capacity, spectrum efficiency and peak rate, achieving high speed rate as high as 4.9 Mbps in single frequency carrier and 9.8 Mbps in two frequency carrier bundle.
CDMA EV-DO Rev.B Phase-I network is present in several countries across the world including Japan, Norway, Indonesia, Sweden, South Korea and Ukraine among others. However, MTS India is credited to be the first telecom company in the world to commercially launch the CDMA EV-DO Rev.B Phase II network.

MBlaze Ultra enables customers to have a seamless, buffer free video watching experience. To get an MBlaze connection, customers can choose from the following two options:
