Even though Nokia has opted for the Windows Phone platform, it seems the company isn’t content with just that. To make its presence felt everywhere and to create more avenues for generating cash flow, Nokia has come out with a range of social that are available even for the Android and iOS platforms.
Don’t believe us? Well, here’s the word straight from the horse’s mouth – Başak Özer, the lead of Nokia’s social and location apps says about Nokia’s Pulse app “The company is breaking its preference for exclusive apps since it is social and needed to be on every platform."

We just bumped into an image that shows a Nokia X7 running Windows Phone. Now this is probably a fake image, however the rendering looks pretty believable.
Being touted as the Nokia 805, the image was leaked on a Chinese website claiming it to be the real deal.

The Windows OS is the next thing to look up to after Android. But, until now, it has graced only phones beyond the budget range. Only high-end phones such as Nokia Lumia 800 and HTC radar have embraced Windows in the real sense. But, in case you want the Windows OS but can’t afford the price, well don’t despair. Nokia, it seems after switching on to Windows OS is once again with its Lumia 610 handset. The handset will not only be ultra-cheap it might also be available on contracts to make it easier for you to get it.
Already the Nokia Lumia 710 is selling pretty cheap at a sub-15000 Rs. price, the Lumia 610 is expected to bring down the price barrier to $150 (Rs. 7500) and on a contract, we believe it might even come free. Looking at from an Indian perspective, we think if Vodafone or Airtel were to support Nokia in its venture, it would sell like hot pies here according to us. As for specs, nothing is known as yet.

We have heard in the past about Nokia’s plan of coming out with a tablet but there has been no concrete improvement in regards to this. And with everybody going gaga with Nokia’s Windows Phone Lumia devices, news is coming in that Nokia may have already be working on a Windows 8 tablet.
Eldar Murtazin, the Russian tech blogger and industry insider has tweeted that Nokia Russian office has received documents in regard to this Windows 8 tablet.This goes on to indicate that either the work on the tablet is already on or it could start very well soon. Eldar went on to say that with this Nokia will surprisingly not be treated as ‘special’ and will be given no preference and exclusivity from Microsoft and the company will remain neutral to all its partners.

Nokia N8 is indeed a one-of-its-kind device with an awesome 12 MP camera onboard and since its launch, till date no device manufacturer has been able to even give a little competition to the N8’s sensor. With this the hopes for an awesome mobile phone with a much larger sensor rise, and thus comes the N8 successor in picture. We have been hearing a lot about this device from the past few months and are really excited to see how the device would actually be.
So going back in the past, we first knew about the N8 successor from Nokia’s Head Stephen Elop himself. Elop had said that what we see in N8 is just a small fraction of what Nokia’s capable of in their labs and his job is to get stuff like that to market.

The team behind PocketNow is back with some nice leaks for us, as usual. And this time it is all about the probable line-up of devices by Nokia that we could see at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) later this month.

It seems as if the Nokia Lumia promotion is never going to get over. As if hosting the Nokia World event or paying for free live performances wasn’t enough, Nokia has sponsored free rides in London’s famed black cabs to promote its Lumia 800.
Should you be in London, don’t forget to avail this facility. The cab sponsoring is also part of the Social Media week 2012, which Nokia sponsors. The company has also posed for pictures on Twitter and decorated the vehicles in such a fashion that you will know when you are hitching a free ride.
Nokia 302 (RM-813) leaks, reminds us of the C3 and E6

A new portrait screen and QWERTY keyboard equipped handset by Nokia has leaked. The handset is being called the 302 (RM-813) so probably a new member in Asha series which already includes the 200, 201, 300 and 303.
The handset is rumoured to be a successor for the Nokia C3, however it seems very similar to the E6 Symbian smartphone.

So, all the Nokia devices running Symbian Anna devices have already received their much-awaited Nokia (Symbian) Belle update back on February, minus the Nokia 500. At the time of the roll-out of Belle, Nokia told us all that the 500 will receive the update a bit later, without giving out a specific timeframe to expect the release.
But now via the Belle FAQs, Nokia has clarified its stand over the delay of the Nokia Belle release for the Nokia 500 and said that it is all to be blamed over the 500’s hardware on which Nokia is finding it tough to release the update. Nokia has further went on to say that the 500 will only have 4 home-screens as compared to the 6 that are normally now found on other updated Belle devices.

So MyNokiaBlog is reporting that a substantial rumour is doing the round that Nokia’s next expected update, the Nokia (Symbian) Carla and Donna update never arrive for the current set of Symbian^3 or Anna device which received Belle update which include Nokia N8, C6-01, E7, C7, X7 and E6 due to hardware limitations.
It is being said that Carla and Donna will run only on 1GHz processor or more.
