Now that we are done with the launch of the new iPad, moving on to whats new with the tablet market. It seems Microsoft and Nokia’s partnership is not restricted to their phones only. For all we know, Nokia seems to be working on launching a Windows tab which we might get a glance of, this very year!
The news of a 10-inch Windows 8 slate with a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon is doing rounds on the net.
Nokia Lumia headed to China on 28th March

Nokia’s new Windows Phone range will finally be hitting China on the 28th of March. According to sources the new line-up will include models like Nokia 719C, 710, 800 and 800C, where ‘C’ stands for CDMA versions.
The handsets were long due for the country, but it seems that the Chinese can finally rejoice and taste some Windows Phone goodness on Nokia devices.

According to the Hindu Business Line, Nokia is planning to exit mobile money business which was launched in India two years ago. It had launched Nokia Money in association with YES Bank and Union Bank in India, but it seems like Nokia is not very keen on focussing on such services.
Nokia Money already has about 2 lakh subscribers and has about 1.2 million subscribers that are using the service across all three platforms. Nokia had also launched the service, based on Obopay's mobile payment platform, in other countries, including Pakistan.

Just a couple of days back we reported that Nokia’s Lumia 800 was receiving a software update which included many fixes and battery life improvement. And now we can confirm that the software update 1600.2487.8107.12070 is rolling out for owners of Lumia 800 in India and Singapore.
With this, Nokia Lumia 710 is also receiving the same 1600.2487.8107.12070 update bringing in loads of improvements.

According to the latest rumours doing the rounds, it seems that Nokia is already working on two Windows Phone 8 Apollo devices codenamed ‘Nokia Prodigy’ and ‘AC/DC’.
With the ‘Apollo’ update we know that Windows Phone will bring in new capability to support for multi-core processors, HD display resolutions, NFC, OS level encryption and more.

The Weather widget for Nokia Belle devices have been updated in the Nokia Beta Labs. With this new version will enable users to uninstall the widget once you install this new version. This Weather widget displays the current weather and forecast in your current location or any other selected city in the world.
The weather widget package contains two versions of the widget which include a Weather now and Weather forecast widget. Weather now displays only the current weather information; Weather forecast displays also a two day forecast.

Nokia 808 PureView not arriving in North America

And here is some sad news coming in for the people of North America! After wooing everyone with the 41MP shooter it seems Nokia is in no mood to launch the Nokia 808 PureView in North America.
Now this includes United States, and we all know that there is a very thin line of people who would love to use a device running on Nokia Belle and so this decision comes in from the Finnish company.

A new update has started rolling out for Nokia’s first Windows Phone, Lumia 800. The new update, as promised by Nokia, brings new camera features and improvements. Also, there are improvements regarding the battery, so now you should get more juice out of it.
Certain regions have confirmed and are getting the new update over the Zune software, which means that the official roll-out has started from today and should reach all the regions soon. If you haven’t got the update yet, wait for it, it should be up in this week itself.
