Swype Inc. in collaboration with Nokia today announced the launch of Swype Beta especially targeted for its Symbian users. The USP of Swype is it's capability of faster and easier way to input text on any screen. A phenomenal speed of 40 words per minute can be achieved through the continuous finger or stylus motion across the screen keyboard. A wide range of devices such as phones, tablets, game consoles, kiosks, televisions, virtual screens, etc. can be greatly benefitted by this application. |

For the 3rd time in a row Nokia has been ranked No.1 in The Economic Times-Brand Equity's annual 'Most Trusted Brands' survey for 2010 in India. Nokia has appeared in the survey since 2005, and has held the first position in 2008, 2009 and now, 2010.
Nokia has unveiled its new touchscreen smartphone Nokia 5250. Its dimensions are 104 mm x 49 mm x 14 mm (L x W x T) and it weighs around 107 grams. It runs on Symbian^1 (Symbian OS, S60 5.0). It features 2.8" TFT display with a 16:9 apect ratio and a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels, 2 megapixel camera, expandable memory of upto 16 Gb, 3.5 mm AV connector and FM radio. It provides standby time of upto 450 hours, talk time of upto 7.7 hours and music playback time of upto 24 hours.
Nokia has announced that it will be acquirig Motally. Nokia today unveiled its first Touch and Type device - the Nokia X3 Touch and Type (Nokia X3-02), is a combination of a touch screen and traditional 12 button phone keypad. It sits alongside the Nokia X3-00, a slider phone, which was launched in September 2009. The dimensions of Nokia X3 Touch and Type are 106.2 mm x 48.4 mm x 9.6 mm and its weighs around just 78 grams. It is one of the most slimmest Nokia phones ever. Despite its size, the Nokia X3 is jam-packed with features including 3G, WLAN, a music player and a FM radio.
