A Skype client for Nokia smartphones based on the Symbian platform is now available. Skype for Symbian will allow Nokia smartphone users worldwide to use Skype on the move, over either a WiFi or mobile data connection (GPRS, EDGE, 3G). It is now downloadable for free from the Ovi Store, Nokia's one-stop shop for mobile content.Skype for Symbian will run on any Nokia smartphone using Symbian ^1, the latest version of the Symbian platform. Skype will soon introduce this client to Symbian mobile devices from other manufacturers, including Sony Ericsson. Add a comment |

It is now downloadable for free from the Ovi Store, Nokia's one-stop shop for mobile content.
Nokia Beta labs has introduced a new Application called 'Nokia Feel'. Nokia Feel helps you discover what you can do with your device in a more spontaneous way. When you tell it how you feel, the application suggests a few things you could do. In this way, discovering the capabilities of your device can be emotional, surprising, and fun.
Nokia has updated the Firmware of Nokia N97. The new firmware release (21.2.045) brings improved call reliability. Touch screen usability has been improved so you can scroll smoothly through content. This release also includes improvements in the Browser and Music player applications, and in image and video stability. This software release is available through the Nokia Software.
Firefox is now available for Nokia’s Maemo platform. Nokia N900 owners can now enjoy many of the same Firefox features they know and love on the desktop on their mobile device. Firefox is the first mobile Web browser to support add-ons. Add-ons like AdBlock Plus, URL Fixer, TwitterBar, language translators, and geo guides become especially handy when you’re out and about on your mobile device. Just as Firefox does for the desktop, Firefox for mobile provides a platform for developers to create rich applications. Developers can use the latest Web technologies like HTML5, CSS and JavaScript to improve, modify and customize the browser.
Nokia labs have released a new App - Nokia Image Space. You can simply link your Flickr account to Image Space. After this you can start browsing and sharing photos in Image Space. Your account, the privacy settings and contact lists are handled in Flickr. You see your Flickr contacts and those photos you have access to. Moreover, the comments, tags and photo descriptions can be viewed and edited in Image Space.
