Movil launches MA1 & MT1, Dual SIM Mobile phones

Movil has launched 2 new mobiles MA1 and MT1. MA1 is a water and shock resistant mobile phone and MT1 is a touch phone with motion sensor. Both phones support Dual SIM (GSM + GSM). MA1 : Designer Metal Phone
MA1, the Water & Shock resistant mobile comes with 1000 mAh battery and packs multimedia features like digital camera, MP3 player, FM radio. The 2 Gb expandable memory is enough to carry 600 songs on your playlist. It is available in Metallic Colours - Orange and Green. The MA1 is priced at Rs. 4,200
MT1 – Touch Phone
MT1 is 13mm slim, it has a 3" high resolution screen. It comes desktop style user interface. The widgets, drag and drop menu allows home screen personalization by placing shortcut icons anywhere on the screen as per user convenience. MT1 is loaded with high-end multimedia features like 3.2MP camera, bluetooth (with A2DP) & a RMVB video player that allows higher file compression (store 16 movies on an 8 Gb memory card) and plays the videos at 30 frames / second. MP3 player and FM radio are the other features on the phone. The phone has motion sensor and accelerometer allowing wallpapers and songs to be changed with just a shake. Another thoughtful feature is “Turn-to-Silence” - just turn the ringing phone to silence it. It offers upto 6 Hours talk-time with 1050 mAh battery. The MT1 is priced at Rs. 5,500.
Movil Mobiles enters Indian market

Bling telecom, a Private Limited Company has rolled out its new brand Movil in the Indian market and introduced an array of designer phones in the mid and high end segments for GSM and CDMA technologies.Movil’s array of designer phones launched included the rough and tough water resistant MA1 with with features such as: Battery life of 1000mAh, Camera, , MP3 and MP4, flash card slot and dual card standby. The other models launched are V1c, a low end multi-media CDMA device with MP3 player, MT1, a dual SIM phone with 3 mega pixel camera, 3D motion sensor, and MP3/MP4 player as well as MC1, a multi media device with dedicated music keys. In addition there is 3.5 mm jack for the music lovers even for the entry level phones
The entire range of Movil mobiles comes in various colours. The price range of Movil Mobiles starts from Rs.2000 onwards.
Marketing Plans of Movil Mobiles
The company plans to achieve a target 1.5 million phones by the financial year 2010-2011. A direct retail model for the distribution of mobile phone’s will be adopted. The company will showcase its products with retail and franchise stores of several large operators in the country. The company with an aggressive branding program is going pan India with blue chipped distributors and a string of service providers. A large recruitment drive is already underway to install promoters in all the leading mobile stores in the country.
The company will also launch a separate brand “BLING” for the growing CDMA open market.
