BlackBerry Storm 2 is now officially available in India. The BlackBerry Storm2 smartphone runs on BlackBerry OS 5. It comes with a new SurePress technology based on an electronic system that provides the user with tactile feedback when the touch-screen is pressed. SurePress technology also allows the user to type a letter with one thumb even while their other thumb may still be touching or resting on another letter, enabling faster typing and multi-key actions such as Shift or Alt -key combinations. It is available at a hefty price tag of Rs. 31990.
LG has expanded its Cookie Series with the launch of LG Cookie Plus (LG GS500) and LG Cookie Fresh (LG GS290). LG Cookie Plus (LG GS500), centered on social connectivity, is a 3G handset. It also supports downloading and running applications, real-time push e-mail and web browsing. LG Cookie Fresh (LG GS290) offers the features found in the original Cookie but comes in a sleek and smooth package and soft outer grip as well as in 16 bold color variations.
