Guess who’s making the numbers roll? Yes, Rovio has been making huge profits thanks to its Angry Birds game franchise. Reports are coming in from the company that the game has surpassed one billion downloads across all the platforms including Android, iOS, Windows and Mac OS X.
The first game was launched back in December 2009 and since then we saw Angry Birds Season, Angry Birds Rio and now Angry Birds Space rolling out and making huge money for the company.

For all those who have been disappointed by the fact that Rovio hasn’t released a Windows Phone version of the new bird slinging game Angry Birds Space, we have some good news.
We just heard Nokia announcing its various partners for its Lumia range which obviously includes Rovio and the company has hinted that the newest instalment of the game is in works and will be supported by the Lumia range.

If you thought Angry Birds Space was the next big thing for game developers Rovio, then think again. We kind of knew this was coming and here it is, the official Angry Birds Land has opened at Särkänniemi Theme Park in Finland offering a whole new experience of the bird slinging game.
Angry Birds Land currently has 12 rides, an adventure course, games and food points, designed especially for families and young children.

Rockstar Games, the makers of the ever-popular Max Payne have announced the arrival of the game over Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android devices under the name of Max Payne Mobile.
Back then in September last year, Rockstar Games had announced that game will arrive over both the platforms starting April 12, 2012 for iOS device and two weeks later on April 26, 2012 for Android devices.

Mobile gaming is a new industry which is growing at a great a scale. We don’t mind paying any amount of money to buy a great game. If for example we consider Angry Birds, the game costs just 99 cents but when millions of people all around the world download it, it generates millions of dollars too.
Apart from this, the company which develops the games also earns from in-game adverting and many other sources. So the revenue generated by a game is a very BIG number. And now new stats and results of a research by a company called SuperData go on to reveal that the mobile gaming revenue could reach $7.5 billion by 2015.

The newest instalment of the popular bird slinging game, Angry Birds has been officially announced and unveiled by Samsung at the SXSW. Angry Birds Space has been launched on the Samsung Galaxy Note and features a whole new dimension of the game.
Also the birds have been upgraded and now posses some new powers. The game will be available on 22nd of March and will be free for three months for all Samsung Galaxy devices. SWEET!
