Bandhan Preet Singh 05 April 2009 Department of Telecom (DOT) is considering an 11-digit numbering system for Mobile Numbers as the Cell phone operators expecting that the mobile growth will exhaust 10-digit numbers sooner or later. I think those having Vanity/VIP numbers may feel the maximum heat as their fancy Mobile numbers will get changed. Most probabaly the present 10-digit numbers will be prefixed with '9' digit. DOT (Department of Telecom) has already forwarded the blue print to the Indian Govt for the required approval. | |
