MTS India introduces new MSaver Pack for Rajasthan

All STD calls will be charged at 1 paisa / second. The Super Saver Pack is available for all new and exisiting customers in Rajasthan telecom Circle. It is available at Rs. 76 and comes with a validity of 180 days.

MTS India intoduces new STVs for Mumbai. Call @ 1p/4sec

mts-mumbai-new-tariff-feb-10MTS India today introduced new tariff for Mumbai telecom circle. This new tariff will allow its users to make local MTS to MTS calls at 1 paisa / 4 seconds, other local calls at 1 paisa / 2 seconds and STD calls at 1 paisa / second.

To avail the new  tariff, MTS India’s pre-paid subscribers need to recharge with the new special tariff voucher priced at Rs.49, Rs.98 and Rs. 148, which comes with the validity of 60 days and 90 days respectively.

MTS India Crosses 3 Million Subscriber Base

mts india number of subscribersMTS India, the mobile telephony services brand of Sistema Shyam Teleservices Limited (SSTL), has crossed the milestone of 3 million subscribers in India.

MTS India CDMA Mobile services was launched in India in March 2009 and in less than a year the company has notched up an impressive subscriber base and the numbers continue to grow at an average monthly rate of over fifteen percent (15%).Rajasthan, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu accounted for the fast growth of MTS in India. The recently launched circles of Karnataka and Delhi/NCR have registered an impressive growth in customer additions already crossing 150,000 subscribers. Rajasthan, where SSTL had a presence for few years now has over 1.2 million subscribers. Kolkata & West Bengal accounted for over 700,000 and Tamil Nadu is close to 500,000 MTS subscribers. The telecom circles of Karnataka and Delhi‐NCR have successfully attracted over 150,000 subscribers in the last quarter of 2009.

MTS now has operations in eleven circles which include Tamil Nadu/Chennai , Kerala, Rajasthan, Kolkata, West Bengal, Bihar/Jharkhand, Delhi, Karnataka, Haryana, Mumbai and Maharashtra.

Commenting on this momentous occasion, Mr. Vsevolod Rozanov, President and Chief Executive Officer of SSTL said, “ Industry regulator has adjudged our network as one of the best in quality in the industry. I am happy that more and more subscribers in our telecom circles are endorsing our services. MTS offers half a paisa per second billing for local calls in many of its circles and is changing the high speed data service market with its innovative MBlaze offer which offers free download of websites including Yahoo with a download speed up to 3.1 Mbps.

MTS now in Pune

This is the eleventh circle to be launched by MTS thus further expanding its presence in urban India. Voice services will be available in Pune and rest of Maharashtra in the month of January 2010. The new year offering from MTS to Pune subscribers is a Pre‐paid high speed data service with rates from Rs 2999 onwards. Subscribers in Pune will also be able download 15 GB data worth Rs.1500, free for the first month as part of the inaugural offer. Also there will be no roaming of the inaugural offer. Also there will be no roaming surcharges while using the MTS network.

While using MBlaze, subscribers will feel the power of speed while downloading and surfing the net and all this will be available to Pune subscribers for as little as 10p/MB. Free Internet browsing to certain websites will allow subscribers to stay abreast with the latest in news, sports and fashion. Subscribers will be able to shop and also browse certain educational sites for free.

With the Pune launch, MBlaze will be available in 24 towns across India and in all large urbancentres including Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai.

MTS India is now in Haryana

MTS is offering both its high speed mobile Internet service, MBlaze, and voice services, with an introductory offer of one paisa per two seconds for local mobile phone calls in Haryana. MBlaze offers 15 GB data worth Rs.1500/‐, free for the first month as part of the inaugural offer and there will be no roaming surcharges while using the MTS network.

The new tariff is an improvement on the already available “per second billing” offer introduced by MTS in other circles, which has become an industry norm. Subscribers will be able to use this prepaid service and get connected without verification of their credit ratings and without security deposits.

MTS is already present in the telecom circles of Kolkata, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Chennai &Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Bihar &Jharkhand, Delhi, Karnataka and Mumbai.

MTS will Soon launch its Mobile Services in Mumbai

mts-india-mumbaiMTS India will be launching its Mobile services in Mumbai soon. (We expect that the launch will happen within this week) It will become the 12th Telecom Operator in Mumbai Circle. Sistema Shyam Teleservices will also launch high speed data service, Mblaze.

One of the MTS official told MobiGyaan that they will be holding a Press Conference in Mumbai on 16th of this Month. MTS is already present in 8 Telecom Circles - Delhi, Kolkata, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Bihar & Jharkhand.

MTS will launch their services in Maharashtra & Goa in upcoming days after their launch in Mumbai,which is expected this week.However few suburban areas of Mumbai which come under the Rest Of Maharashtra circle like Bhiwandi,Kalyan,Ulhas Nagar,Virar & Boisar will get network coverage with this launch.MTS has an infrastructure sharing deal with telecom major Tata Indicom which allows them to give seamless connectivity where their network is not present but with roaming rates.

MTS launches high speed mobile data services MBlaze in Rajasthan

mts-mblazeMTS India the CDMA mobile service operator announced the rollout of its high speed mobile data service, ‘MBlaze’ offering speeds as high as 3.1 Mbps in Rajasthan Telecom Circle. And keeping in lines with the lowly priced tariffs witnessed in the Indian mobile space, the company has pitched its data service for tariff of 10 paise per MB with no roaming charges. Certain websites such as Yahoo, Wikipedia and Makemytrip as well as some educational sites will be available under free usage.

Apart from Rajasthan, MTS MBlaze services are also available in Delhi-NCR, Chennai, Coimbatore, Trichy in Tamil Nadu, Mysore, Mangalore, Bengaluru and Belgaum in Karnataka and Kochi, Calicut, Trivandrum, Mysore, Mangalore, Bengaluru, Belgaum in Kerala.

Now buy MTS Recharge Vouchers at Post Offices in Chennai

mts-indian-postNow it will be even easier for the people of Chennai to buy recharge vouchers for their MTS mobile phone. Sistema Shyam TeleServices Ltd., the company that owns the MTS brand, has tied-up with India Post to make available recharge vouchers across all post offices in Chennai. Initially, these vouchers will be available at 50 post offices, and the scheme will later be expanded to cover all post offices in the city.

Says Mr. Srinirao Saripalli, Chief Operating Officer, Tamil Nadu & Kerala, Sistema Shyam TeleServices Ltd., “India Post has a very vast and widespread network of post-offices that are located at prominent places. Several of them are landmarks in themselves.This initiative to partner with India Post  will not only provide our customers easily identifiable points-of-sale where they can buy MTS vouchers, but will also provide us extensive brand visibility. All our current top-ups and RCVs will be available in e-recharge form at 50 post offices in Chennai beginning October 15.”

MTS launches its mobile services in Delhi

mts-delhiMTS has launched its services in Delhi-NCR (We earlier reported that MTS will launch in Delhi on 8th October) MTS is offering its Delhi subscribers the tariff plan Power of One with per second billing and announced availability of MTS mobile high speed data services in Delhi in October.

For the first time in the Delhi mobile telecom market MTS has made available for NCR customers the tariff plan Power of One with full talk-time for life, plus 1-second billing, and local calls at just 1 paisa per second. Within the plan STD calls will be charged at 2 paisa per second. Full talk-time will be available on MTalk, on all recharges including even mini-recharges of Rs.10 and Rs.20. Moreover, customers can also choose to get 50% off on local calls, 50% off on STD calls, and 100 SMSes every day, at Msaver rentals of just Rs.1 per day for each. MTS is also offering 10,000,00 minutes of talk time free through the MCard.
