MTS completes expansion in Goa & Konkan

MTS today completed its network roll out in the telecom circle of Maharashtra and Goa, offering both voice and data services. MTS had its high speed data service, MBlaze, operational in Goa from January 2010. MBlaze mobile broadband service is already available in the cities of Panjim, across Goa, Kolhapur, Sangli, Solapur, Pune, Nagpur, Amravati, Jalgaon, Aurangabad, Ahmednagar and Nasik.Mr. Subodh Kumar Srivastav, Chief Operating Officer of Mumbai, Maharashtra & Goa, SSTL, said “MTS will have its network presence across the State from the first day of the launch, giving the subscribers the benefit of our special offers of half a paisa per second for all local calls in Maharashtra, Goa & Mumbai; one fourth a paisa per second for MTS to MTS calls, bundled with complete range of value added services. With our presence across State, we hope to reach subscribers through our Branded stores, mass retail outlets & direct sales force with an aggressive strategy for tapping the mass market as well as corporate customers. MTS, the mobile telephony services brand of Sistema Shyam Tele Services Ltd (SSTL) launched its voice services in the city of Pune covering the western Maharashtra. The company already has a presence in the data services and with the launch of voice services MTS has completed its roll out in the city and the region. MTS now in Andhra Pradesh

MTS India has announced the launch of its CDMA services in Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh is the 12th Telecom circle in which MTS is providing its services. MTS subscribers in Andhra Pradesh will be able to call any local number across the State at a promotional offer of half paisa per second. With its launch in Andhra Pradesh, MTS is now available in all four South India Telecom circles. On the occassion of launch Mr. Suresh S. MTS India Launches MTS TV on MBlaze Data Services

MTS India, the CDMA mobile services of of Sistema Shyam TeleServices Ltd. has announced the launch of MTS TV for MBlaze customers in association with Apalya Technologies .All MBlaze subscribers can now access more than 60 Live and Video On Demand (VOD) channels from news, entertainment, sports, kids, movies and regional language category. The service is available at no extra charges, except the standard data access charges as per the user’s data plan. The customer just needs to download free MTS TV application from the MTS website and switch to selection of the favorite channel for viewing.
MTS India Announced Expansion of Mobile Services in Haryana

MTS India, the CDMA mobile telephony services brand of Sistema Shyam Teleservices Limited (SSTL), will now be available across Haryana with its half a paisa per second tariff voice services and high-speed mobile Internet service, MBlaze in four of its districts.MTS Indias MBlaze wireless Internet services will be available on a pre-paid platform in the districts, Panipat, Sonipat, Rohtak and Bahadurgarh. MBlaze was available in Haryana from the last week of 2009. With the expansion voice services, MTS has significantly completed its presence across the State.
MTS India has a large, seamless high-speed mobile data services network in India offering speeds of up to 3.1 Mbps MBlaze service offers 24 hours of free download as part of the inaugural offer and there is no roaming surcharges while using the MTS network across India. Free internet browsing to certain websites like Make MyTrip, Wikipedia, Yahoo India will allow subscribers to stay abreast with the latest in news, sports and fashion.

MTS India has launched new Super Saver Pack for Rajasthan telecom Circle. It offers local On-Net calls at 1 paisa per 4 seconds and other local calls at 1 paisa per 2 seconds. MTS India today introduced new tariff for Mumbai telecom circle. This new tariff will allow its users to make local MTS to MTS calls at 1 paisa / 4 seconds, other local calls at 1 paisa / 2 seconds and STD calls at 1 paisa / second. To avail the new tariff, MTS India’s pre-paid subscribers need to recharge with the new special tariff voucher priced at Rs.49, Rs.98 and Rs. 148, which comes with the validity of 60 days and 90 days respectively.

MTS India Crosses 3 Million Subscriber Base

MTS India, the mobile telephony services brand of Sistema Shyam Teleservices Limited (SSTL), has crossed the milestone of 3 million subscribers in India.MTS India CDMA Mobile services was launched in India in March 2009 and in less than a year the company has notched up an impressive subscriber base and the numbers continue to grow at an average monthly rate of over fifteen percent (15%).Rajasthan, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu accounted for the fast growth of MTS in India. The recently launched circles of Karnataka and Delhi/NCR have registered an impressive growth in customer additions already crossing 150,000 subscribers. Rajasthan, where SSTL had a presence for few years now has over 1.2 million subscribers. Kolkata & West Bengal accounted for over 700,000 and Tamil Nadu is close to 500,000 MTS subscribers. The telecom circles of Karnataka and Delhi‐NCR have successfully attracted over 150,000 subscribers in the last quarter of 2009.
MTS now has operations in eleven circles which include Tamil Nadu/Chennai , Kerala, Rajasthan, Kolkata, West Bengal, Bihar/Jharkhand, Delhi, Karnataka, Haryana, Mumbai and Maharashtra.
Commenting on this momentous occasion, Mr. Vsevolod Rozanov, President and Chief Executive Officer of SSTL said, “ Industry regulator has adjudged our network as one of the best in quality in the industry. I am happy that more and more subscribers in our telecom circles are endorsing our services. I am extremely happy that MTS services and products have found acceptability among voice and data subscribers equally. MTS offers half a paisa per second billing for local calls in many of its circles and is changing the high speed data service market with its innovative MBlaze offer which offers free download of websites including Yahoo with a download speed up to 3.1 Mbps.

MTS, the mobile telephony services brand of Sistema Shyam Teleservices Limited (SSTL), has launched its high‐speed mobile Internet service, MBlaze, with download speeds up to 3.1 Mbps in Pune. This is the eleventh circle to be launched by MTS thus further expanding its presence in urban India. Voice services will be available in Pune and rest of Maharashtra in the month of January 2010. The new year offering from MTS to Pune subscribers is a Pre‐paid high speed data service with rates from Rs 2999 onwards. Subscribers in Pune will also be able download 15 GB data worth Rs.1500, free for the first month as part of the inaugural offer. Also there will be no roaming of the inaugural offer. Also there will be no roaming surcharges while using the MTS network.
