Puneet Jain 13 July 2010 MTS today flagged off ‘MTS on Wheels’- a initiative aimed at taking telephony services to the door of customers in West Bengal. This is a month long activity started today from Kolkata and will complete its journey at Burdwan by August 2010. During the period, the bus will travel through various cities and towns of West and North Bengal and will address all customer needs related to voice and data services.‘MTS on wheels’ is an air conditioned bus comprising of all the facilities available to customers at MTS branded retail outlets across the country. There are different zones viz. Instant activation zone, Instant recharge zone, Display zone, VAS zone, Data product zone, Customer Service zone and Play & Win zone. The facilities provided by the instant activation zone will range from instant activation of SIMs, instant clicking of passport size photographs and photocopy of POI/POA. | |

Today we shared an
MTS has crossed the milestone of 5 million subscribers in India. To mark the milestone achievement, MTS has offered “Unlimited MBlazer” to the new and existing customers of its mobile broadband service, MBlaze. MTS has notched up a milestone subscriber base, increasing from 1 million to 5 million subscribers in 361 days.
MTS today announced a comprehensive plan called the ‘Win Win pack'. The total pack valued is Rs. 528 and is available for Rs 399 at a introductory discount of 25 per cent. The offer is available in all the circles where MTS is present except Andhra Pradesh Telecom circle. It will be available in Andhra Pradesh very soon.
MTS, the mobile telephony services brand of Sistema Shyam Tele Services Ltd (SSTL) launched its voice services in the city of Pune covering the western Maharashtra. The company already has a presence in the data services and with the launch of voice services MTS has completed its roll out in the city and the region. MBlaze service will now be available in the regional towns of Solapur, Kolhapur, Sangli, Jalgoan and Ahmdnagar and a total of 17 cities in the State.
MTS India has announced the launch of its CDMA services in Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh is the 12th Telecom circle in which MTS is providing its services. MTS subscribers in Andhra Pradesh will be able to call any local number across the State at a promotional offer of half paisa per second. With its launch in Andhra Pradesh, MTS is now available in all four South India Telecom circles.
