MTNL Delhi launches Prepaid 3G service with Lower tariff

State Operator MTNL Delhi launches Prepaid 3G Mobile service and also slashed its Postapaid 3G tariff more than 50% less from the existing 3G Plans. MTNL Delhi’s 3G Prepaid plans starts from Rs.250 and the revised postpaid 3G Tariff Plans now also same as new prepaid tariff plans.

Announcing the launch of the pre-paid 3G service, RSP Sinha said CMD of MTNL,the Company is launching 3G Jadoo Prepaid Services so that customer should be able to avail the latest 3G/3.5G services at an affordable price.Since pre-paid is the preferred by customers, the 3G service will be available for only one time charge of Rs 300 with lifetime validity, In addition, a subscriber can also choose any of the data coupons to avail free data downloads coupled with free video calling to suit ones individual requirement, Sinha said.MTNL Delhi also extended 3G coverage to Trans Yamuna, Central Delhi, South Delhi and NCR of Gurgaon with 225 base stations. The company will soon cover Noida, Dwarka, Karolbagh, North-West and the remaining areas in and around the capital.
We have some exclusive details of MTNL Delhi’s Prepaid 3G Tariff plans. The company launches 3G Starter kit for Delhi circle same as Mumbai at Rs 99 with 60MB Free Data usage with validity of 15 Days. The Tariff Plans for Trump Preapid 3G are as follows.

To continue the connection, customer will have to make at least Rs 150/- usage in one month. Voice plan may be converted to any 2G TRUMP plan using conversion coupons.



Existing 2G Customer opting for 3G services will have to pay the following charge and will get the below mentioned tariff :
3G enablement charges (one time to be deducted from the balance) Rs.300/- (inclusive of tax)
As a customer opts for 3G service by giving enablement charges the above mentioned tariff will become applicable. Thus any customer existing will get 3G service as an add-on on his Trump Plan.

The above mentioned data tariff will be applicable only in MTNL Delhi network. After expiry of data card or consumption of free data, the data shall be charged @ Rs 3/- per MB or Rs 10/- per MB as applicable. Free data usage of coupons shall be additive however higher validity will be available.

All charges in the above mentioned tariff and data charges beyond expiry or consumption of free data will be deducted from the main account balance of the Trump customer. The above 3G data cards are downward compatible i.e. it will work with 2G connection but the customer will get the GPRS speed in 2G connection and no video call facility.
Customer willing to buy HSDPA card from MTNL, he will be charged Rs.5000/- (plus tax as applicable) towards cost of HSDPA card and he will get HSDPA card along with 1GB free download to be used in one month in the form of 750/- 3G data coupon..

Jodi offer:
New 3G customers (who will purchase the starter kit) will be provided 2G prepaid Trump Jeevansathi (Super saver pack) connection of MRP Rs.88/- Free as a complementary connection alongwith starter kit.. The 2G complementary connection given to the customer may be provided the facility of making Video calls at the video call rates as specified for 3G plans using compatible handset in 3G network area. The prescribed commercial formalities shall also be completed for the complementary connection.

Note-
The above schemes and package shall be available in Eastern Court, Jeevan Tara Building, Jorbagh, CGO, Laxminagar, BCP, Okhla and Nehru place Sanchar Haat.
The above mentioned 3G pre paid tariff plan and Jodi offer on 3G prepaid plans are launched on a promotional basis for 90 days.
Subscriber can avail same data tariff charges while using in BSNL/MTNL Mumbai network in all plan without any extra roaming charge for data, however free download will be available in MTNL Delhi network only. Roaming charges for voice calls /SMS etc shall be as per 2G Trump plan.

MTNL MUMBAI LAUNCHES 3G MOBILE SERVICES

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) today launched its much awaited third generation 3G mobile services in Mumbai. MTNL Mumbai 3G tariff plans starts from Rs.250 per month at very affordable entry cost.MTNL’s Chairman and Managing Director R.S.P Sinha gave a demonstration during the launch and he also cited that 3G service will be also available for postpaid Dolphin customer as well as prepaid Trump customers.
To take the a taste of MTNL Mumbai’s 3G Jadu services, any of Mobile subscriber can take a ‘3G Trial Pack.’ For Rs. 99, Where they can use this trial pack for 15 days with data download up to 50 MB of data. Any of excess data usage beyond this, it will cost the Rs. 3 per MB.

MTNL Dolphin-Postpaid 3G Plan -
The customer can subscribe to any of the existing MTNL Dolphin 2G plans for Voice and SMS being offered by MTNL Mumbai. Along with this they can subscribe to MTNL Mumbai 3G Jadu services as an addon, the tariff details of which are given below-

MTNL Mumbai today launched BlackBerry services under its post-paid arm Dolphin Mobile service. MTNL’s BlackBerry comes with a price range of Rs.14000 upto Rs34000, three BlackBerry handsets has been introduced which include Blackberry Bold, Blackberry Curve 8310 and Blackberry 8700.

MTNL will launch 3G services in Mumbai by May

MTNL announced that it will launch its 3G services in Mumbai next month, as it targets a user base of 1,00,000 for the third generation mobile service by year-end

"We are looking at launching our 3G services in Mumbai next month and looking at 1,00,000 users by the end of this year," MTNL Director (Technical) Kuldeep Singh told reporters in mumbai on the sidelines of a conference 'Managed Services India 2009'.

FREE LIFE TIME PREPAID BY MTNL

MTNL Mumbai today offers " Life Time Trump Prepaid Sim card" at absolutely Free for all existing MTNL Landline and Mobile subscribers. The Trump Life Time Prepaid SIM card dubbed as "Trump Jeevan Sathi" will have a talk time of Rs.20.

How to Get the Free Life Time Prepaid-:

• Existing Dolphin postpaid, MTNL Landline and Garuda customers can make request for the Free Trump Lifetime Prepaid card by the Trump CAF with two Photograph, One Photo Identity proof, and copy of producing their last paid bill. There should not be any outstanding in their account except the last bill if within due date.
  

• Existing Trump prepaid customers has to fill the Trump CAF, Photo and Documentary proof will be taken as per existing procedure.

This scheme will be implemented only from the MTNL's Area CSCs. and the free Trump SIM card will be given on first come first serve basis.

MTNL LIFE TIME PREPAID NOW AT Rs.75

MTNL Mumbai gives Mumbaikar's another reason to rejoice. On the eve of the Gudi-Padwa-Maharashtra's New Year, MTNL has launched New Life Time Valid Trump Prepaid with Starter kit dubbed as ‘Trump Jeevan Sathi SIM Kit" at Rs.75, which will also carry a talk time of Rs.20.This New life Time Preapid will be available at MTNL counter from today.The call charges is 90 paisa for all local call by default.

However MTNL Trump Prepaid customer can opt any rate cutter plan to reduce the call charghes as Trump-90 for 20 paisa Local calling, Trump Jadu for 49 paisa Local Calling and Trump Hangama for 10 paisa Local calling etc.

MTNL launched BlackBerry services in DELHI

MTNL does not want to be left behind the race in offering the latest in the telecom arena, MTNL today launched its BlackBerry services under the post-paid -Dolphin Mobile service with both 2G and 3G GSM platforms in Delhi-NCR circle.

MTNL rollout of its BlackBerry solutions on the 2G and 3G networks by launching 3G enabled Blackberry Bold smart phones in Delhi today. MTNL's BlackBerry smart phones have a price range of Rs.14, 000-34,000 onwards. Three BlackBerry handsets launched today from MTNL are Blackberry Bold, Blackberry Curve 8310 and Blackberry 8700.

"MTNL has been consistently focused on offering the latest technology and services to its customers. Our strategic collaboration with RIM to offer BlackBerry services to our customers takes us a step forward in this endeavour" MTNL chairman and managing director RSP Sinha said today.He also added that Mumbai roll out can be expected in a month.

In an Exclusive talk MTNL Delhi's Mobile Services Head- Principal General Manager (WS) A K Bhargava said to our senior Editor Sanjay Bafna that "MTNL BlackBerry services introduced under the postpaid Dolphin Mobile service with both 2G and 3G GSM platforms,MTNL has launched various tariff plans for individual and corporate customers. Blackberry service would carry fixed monthly charges ranging between Rs.500 and Rs.1099."

MTNL Blackberry Internet service (BIS) plan comes at Rs.500 per month with free data Usage of 500 KB and Rs.899 for BlackBerry Enterprise services (BES) plan with Unlimited Plan, For individual customer it would cost Rs.3099 with Unlimited data usage plan. MTNL also announced that First 100 Customer who opt the MTNL BlackBerry services with get 3G plan at the charges of 2G Plan as promotional basis.
