MTNL introduces new landline plans in Delhi

With plan Freedom 495, MTNL will charge a monthly rental of Rs. 495 and with it, it is offering its users unlimited free calls to any MTNL number on its network in Delhi and Mumbai, with Rs 500 worth of free calling to other network. All other call charges are applicable at 90p/min.

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) which is known to provide unlimited 3G data plans to its users has announced the closure of its 1800 unlimited 3G Data Plan in its Delhi circle.
From today no prepaid or postpaid subscribers will be able to opt for the 1800 plan.

MTNL regularises FnF plan for all users in Delhi

MTNL, in an effort to provide better service at minimal rates, has announced the regularisation of Family and Friends Plan for its users in Delhi. Now MTNL users can avail this plan by paying a monthly subscription charge of Rs. 50 and choose 5 MTNL basic number, Garuda or mobile number and make calls to their loved ones at just 10p/min for one month. Numbers under FnF may be added or modified and Rs. 10/- will be charged for per addition or modification beyond 5 in a month. The Friends and Family plan will be applicable to customers of all plans.
This Family and Friends plan can be availed by all users from 11.11.2011.
MTNL to offer more speed and night hours on Unlimited Broadband Plans in Mumbai

MTNL in a bid to offer better service to its Broadband users with unlimited plans in Mumbai is now offering up to 20% increase in browsing speed during day time. Speed increase is applicable on Plan 395, 495-Combo, 599, 749 and Plan 999 only. MTNL has also increased the night time browsing hours by two more hours to the existing time frame. From the previous 12 hours time frame of 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. night browsing hours, now users will get full 14 hours of Night browsing hours from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. MTNL has also decided to scrape the Activation charge of Rs. 300 that it charges on new broadband connections.
This is a limited period offer and valid till November 30.
MTNL launches Per-Second STD pack in Mumbai

MTNL has launched a limited period STD pack for its users in Mumbai. Priced at Rs. 34, the STD pack will allow users to make 4800 seconds (80 minutes) of STD Voice calls to any number, anywhere in India. The validity of the STD pack will be for 15 days and both 2G and 3G subscribers can avail it.
The STD pack can be availed through E-recharge and Web recharge.
Plan Rs. 449 and Rs. 849 are only available on prepaid. After the free usage Data rate of 1 paisa per 12 KB across all plans will be applicable.
