MTNL launches Missed Call Alerts for its landline users in Mumbai

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) has announced the launch of an innovative Value Added Service (VAS) for its landline consumers in its Mumbai Telecom Circle. MTNL has launched real time ‘Missed Call Alert’ (MCA) service for its users.


This MCA service will help users to know who called them over their landline while they were out or missed it due to some other reason. This service will indeed be very much useful for everyone as sometimes, they may miss an urgent and important call and with this service they will know the number from which they missed the call and may be interested in calling it back.
MTNL Mumbai revises its 2Mbps Xpress Unlimited plans, Get More Data & Speed

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) has today announced a revision to its existing Xpress Unlimited Plans and added more benefits for the customers in Mumbai.
MTNL has been noting that users using the Unlimited Plans have been using a lot of data and the plans have been a success. So keeping in view the requirements of customers for the Unlimited downloads MTNL has revised the plans are mentioned after the break.
MTNL extends its 'Trial Broadband Plan 1099' until April 30

Back in February, Mahanagar Sanchar Nigam Limited (MTNL) had introduced a ‘Trial Broadband 1099’ plan for prospective users in its Delhi telecom circle. The plan was introduced for a period of 60 days which ended on 31-03-2012. But today, MTNL has announced that the plan has been extended for another 30 days.
With the Trial Broadband 1099 plan, MTNL is offering new users to try its broadband service with unlimited data usage. In this plan MTNL is providing data usage at a speed of 2 Mbps upto 5 GB and after this limit is exhausted the speed is but down to 512 Kbps but the usage remains unlimited.
MTNL to have a common APN (Access Point Name) for all GSM customers across Delhi and Mumbai

MTNL has announced that it will now have a common access point name for its GSM post paid and prepaid customers across Delhi and Mumbai. Earlier MTNL Delhi and Mumbai units were having separate APN for their customers; also post paid and prepaid subscribers were using different APNs.


Now the entire customer base will be converged on a common APN of “mtnl.net”. The existing customers shall continue to get uninterrupted internet service on their existing APN till they change to new APN.
MTNL launches new FTTH broadband plan in Delhi

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) has announced the launch of a new promotional FTTH (Fibre to the Home) plan for prospective users in Delhi.
With the FTTH 1990 plans users will get a download speed of 10 Mbps until a download limit of 80 GB. After the user crosses the 80 GB limit, the speed will be dropped to 1 Mbps thereafter.

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) has announced the launch of a new promotional broadband plan, Freedom 645 Combo Plan for its users in Delhi.


Now users opting for this promotional broadband plan will get 2 Mbps of download speed until the limit of 4 GB and an upload speed of 512 Kbps. After the 4GB data limit is crossed MTNL will reduce the download speed to 512 Kbps with unlimited download still active.

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) has announced another promotional broadband plan for its users in Mumbai, which will provide Them with 8 Mbps speed with high download and upload limit.
The new ‘Promotional Broadband 8 Mbps plan’ will be provided to users who already have line-bonding and who have a modem that support line bonding. With this plan users will get download speed of 8 Mbps and upload speed of 2 Mbps. Also MTNL is giving 2 Email ids with this plan. The download limit for this plan is set at 60 GB and users will have to shell out Rs. 3998 for all these features. After the 60 GB limit is over, users will be charged 30 paisa per MB.

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) has launched a new First Time Recharge Coupon (FTRC) for its prospective GSM users in Mumbai. Priced at Rs 84 this particular FTRC 84 will allow users to make calls for as less as 2p/min within a group of upto 9 MTNL GSM subscribers.


Apart from this, other calls to local number will be charged at 20p/min and 50p/min will be charged for STD calls. Prospective users can buy a new 3G SIM for just Rs. 10 and then go ahead with this FTRC 84. With this FTRC users will also get free talktime of Rs 54 and initial validity of 365 days. Additional free benefits with this plan include 250 SMS (Local and National), 100 MB data and 25 minutes on-net video calling per month for the initial 3 months.

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) has announced the availability of three new packs for its subscribers in Delhi. MTNL has introduced a Weekly SMS pack for prospective users. Priced at Rs. 15, this weekly SMS pack will allow MTNL users to send out 400 Local and 200 national SMS all over India for 7 days.
With the Weekly STD pack, users will be allowed to make a total of about 150 minutes of free STD calls at just Rs. 55 for one week. The free minutes (local or STD) are valid for calls made from home circle only and not on roaming. MTNL has not levied any limit on the number of recharges; a customer can do at any given time. There is no cumulative usage validity on doing multiple recharges. Only the minutes given on recharge will be cumulated if the customer does multiple recharges on the same day.

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) has announced the launch of two new unlimited broadband plans for its users in Mumbai. The two plans are '1 Mbps Unlimited Combo-995' and '2 Mbps Xpress Unlimited Combo Plan'.
