Loop Mobile expanded its portfolio of Value added Service with the launch of two new services - Loop Mobile Mail and Loop Mobile Video. With Loop Mobile mail subscribers can send and receive emails on their mobile in the form of SMS without the need to have GPRS, whereas Loop Mobile Videos offers multiple genre videos downloads.

• To receive Emails from your Gmail, Hotmail accounts in your SMS Inbox, you set the auto-forwarding option from your current Email ID to the Loop Mobile Mail ID.
• For Emails where you receive attachments, you will receive a link in the SMS using which the attachment can be viewed. Please note the attachment viewing feature is available for only GPRS enabled devices.

From the portal, Loop Mobile subscribers can download colorful Ganesh wallpapers, animations, videos, polytones and true tones of mantras, aartis, bhajans, shlokas, and even dedicate them to their loved ones. Continuing with its legacy of providing the best value to customers, Loop Mobile introduced Ganpati special pack for its prepaid subscribers. With just Rs. 64, all Loop Mobile prepaid subscribers can get 2000 Loop Minutes and 2000 local & national SMS with a validity of 7 days.

 Mumbai ka Gang (MKG) offers Loop Mobile subscribers to make all loop calls at 10p, all other mobile calls at 50p for lifetime. The local and national SMS will be charged at 10p and 50p respectively. For new subscribers the recharge denomination is Rs 41 and for existing subscriber it is Rs 4. Existing subs can avail the offer by sending SMS ‘MKG’ to 50505 (charge at Rs. 4). There is a daily rental of Re.1/day.

Loop Mobile and SMS GupShup today announced the launch of the “Reply All SMS” service. This will enable Loop Mobile subscribers to simultaneously communicate with multiple people using SMS.

• Reply All SMS is simple and easy to use, similar to the CC and reply-all features on email.
• A Loop Mobile subscriber can start a conversation by sending the following message to 555999: CHAT 98210xxxxx 98200xxxxx 92235xxxxx (where 98210xxxxx etc. are the numbers of the friends, who may be on any operator network).
• The system will create a group and prompt the user to send a message, which goes to all participants in the group. Participants can reply to the message – which will also be sent to all participants in the group.
• The group can have at most 7 participants, including the initiator. This service is currently being offered free of cost to all Loop Mobile users till the 30th June 2010, after which users will be charged 50 paise for every message sent to the group.

Loop Mobile has tied up with Cinemax multiplex chain and Sterling Cinema in a bid to captivate its subscribers with the magic of Movies every Friday. Loop Mobile subscribers can now watch a new movie every Friday with Loop Mobile ‘First Day, First Show’.

The association will allow Loop Mobile subscribers to avail one free movie ticket on the purchase of one movie ticket. This is for any movie; any show timing and every Friday. One can also purchase a combo pack of ‘regular Popcorn & Coke’ at just Rs. 50. Through this tie-up with all 13 Cinemax theatres and Sterling Cinema in Mumbai, Loop Mobile subscribers located anywhere in the city will be at convenience. While the procedure to avail this is very simple, the scheme is open at a first come first serve basis cueing subscribers to book the tickets well in advance after receiving the MCoupon.

2. An SMS in reply will give you the ‘Mcoupon’
3. On Friday: Present this message with the ‘Mcoupon’ to the company representative at the Loop Mobile counter stationed at Cinemax or Sterling
4. The company representative will then give a bar-coded print of the Mcoupon
5. Redeem the print copy of the bar-coded Mcoupon at the ticket counter for the ticket.
6. The other half of the Mcoupon (i.e. Food coupon) needs to be redeemed at the cafeteria to avail the food combo pack of a ‘Pop Corn + Coke’ at just Rs 50.

Another MKG- Per Second CUG Plan comes at Rs.43 with talk time of Rs.33 with Life Time Validity. With this plan loop mobiles prepaid subscribers can enjoy all local Calls with in Loop Network (Including of Gang Plan users) will be charged at just 1 paisa for 6 seconds while all other local and Mobile STD calls charged at One paisa per Second.
