Mobile underdog, Karbonn Mobiles has launched two new handsets for its customers in India falling under the affordable category. The Karbonn KT51 and the Karbonn TnT KT60 are the latest feature phones to hit the Indian market.

Karbonn Mobiles recently expanded its mobile handset portfolio with the launch of 10 new mobiles in the price range of Rs. 1500-5000. The new range from Karbonn consists of touch, QWERTY, multimedia and music phones.While the Karbonn K1414 is a touchscreen phone, the Karbonn K25i is a Wi-Fi enabled, QWERTY phone. The Karbonn K111, K11 & K514 are multimedia phones and the Karbonn K550i, K424, K343 & K316 are music phones. The Karbonn K451i is a phone that offers a good battery backup.
Karbonn Mobiles also announced that they have plans to launch 3G smartphones on the Android platform within the next quarter.
On the launch, Pradeep Jain, Managing Director, Karbonn Mobiles, said “Karbonn Mobiles was launched in India in March 2009 with a view of offering unmatched quality and features at attractive price points for Indian mobile phone users. The response thus far has been truly overwhelming and the Karbonn brand has gone from strength to strength in the country. We plan to get even more aggressive with fresh initiatives to ramp up our operations and aim to double our sales by the first quarter of the next year.”

Karbonn Mobiles recently introduced Karbonn K406. The K406 is a dual SIM music phone with all the multimedia features is priced at Rs. 2590.The phone supports MP3 and MIDI Formats Of Music (Midi,MP3,MP2,AAC,AMR-NB, Melody, AMR-WB, AAC+, eAAC). Users can play songs in the background while they browse the phone. An expandable memory of up to 8GB is supported on this phone. It also has one touch FM channel change, FM alarm, FM recording and playback and FM loudspeaker.
The phone has a 4 hours talk time and 400 hours standby time. It also has a VGA camera, Bluetooth, torch light, video player, GPRS/MMS/WAP, mobile tracker, hot keys for audio player and data security. The phone is powered by hi-fi sound output for both FM and MP3 player.

Karbonn Mobiles has unveiled its latest offering for the Indian market – the Karbonn K1212. The K1212 is a dual SIM phone with a 3.2 inch touchscreen. The phone comes at a Market Operating Price of Rs 5000.The Karbonn K1212 features motion sensor technology for changing wallpapers, music player songs, FM stations etc., with just a shake.
