Idea cellular has come up with a new campaign called 'Idea Oongli Cricket', this summer. During this campaign question based on the events and happenings of the ongoing match of the day will be asked.

‘Idea Oongli Cricket’ can be played by all mobile phone users by SMSing their answer to ‘9594939291’. The number is toll free for Idea subscribers, and standard messaging rates apply for other mobile subscribers. 160by2.com which has a registered user base of 6.8 million and sending 57 million SMS every month in association with Idea Cellular started an interactive game that encourages users to use more of mobile phone and less of paper. IDEA Cellular’s green campaign has made people think about newer, greener ideas to ‘Use Mobile, Save Paper’. IDEA has embarked upon a major drive to mobilize innovative ways to spread the green message through a complete 360 degree media campaign.

To demonstrate such unique ideas, IDEA Cellular is giving Mumbaikars and Delhiites, the chance to experience a day when they can use their mobile phones for paying road toll and to watch a movie, thus doing away with the paper toll tickets. IDEA has come up with a new campaign on Radio urging people to participate in a simple SMS contest which will entitle them to a Code (via SMS) which can then be flashed as their “Mobile ticket” to travel on the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in Mumbai, and the Delhi Noida Direct flyover. IDEA Cellular (Mumbai ) has introduced two new special tariff vouchers for those who talk more at night

IDEA prepaid customers can now avail 500 mins of Free calling at Night through a recharge of Rs. 29. This voucher has a tariff validity of 30 days. Another voucher priced at Rs. 23 offers lowest Night tariff of Re.1 per 30 minutes, and comes with a tariff validity of 30 days.

Both tariff vouchers offer special night tariffs for calls made on Idea to Idea network, within Mumbai, anytime between 11:00 pm to 6:00 am.

Idea Tamil Nadu have launched some eye-catching tariff plans recently. Quite familiar schemes, must say.

1p/6sec and 10p/min schemes are available for Idea Prepaid customers in Chennai and Rest of TN to call their Idea friends. Customers in the per second billing scheme can opt for 1p/6sec to local Idea numbers by making a recharge of Rs.12 at their nearest dealer . It has a validity of 30 days. Idea (Mumbai) launches new tariff. Local Idea to Idea Calls at 1p/5seconds

IDEA Cellular has introduced new call tariffs for over 1.2 million customers in Mumbai. As per the new tariff plan, IDEA prepaid subscribers in the city can now make phone calls at 1 paisa for 5 seconds to any other IDEA number in the city, and anywhere else in Maharashtra & Goa.

The call rate of 1 paisa for 5 seconds is applicable on the recharge voucher of Rs. 17, for per second billing customers. IDEA customers on the per minute billing plan can avail 15 paisa per minute call tariff for Idea to Idea calling anywhere in the state, with the recharge voucher priced at Rs. 18.

The new tariff will be activated within 4 hours of recharge, and has a validity of 30 days.

IDEA Cellular has launched exciting ‘Free SMS’ packs for prepaid subscribers, in Kerala. The new offer has been specially designed targeting high SMS user categories such as the Youth who like to stay in touch with friends and family and share jokes and other messages; and young professionals and small entrepreneurs who need to reach out to prospective customers.

As per the new range of special SMS packs, IDEA prepaid subscribers can enjoy sending upto 350 free Local and National SMS, for a period of 30 days, with a special voucher priced at just Rs. 36. IDEA has launched new tariff for prepaid subscribers in Uttar Pradesh East. The new special tariff voucher will enable IDEA subscribers to make local calls at the lowest tariff of 40 paisa per minute, on any mobile or landline network.

Over 3 million IDEA subscribers in the region now have a special voucher which offers Local calls rate at just 40 paisa per minute, for a recharge of just Rs. 9, and tariff validity of one year.
