Idea Cellular launched a new tariff plan for its postpaid subscribers in Punjab. By subscribing to new tariff IDEA postpaid users will be able to make calls at 50 paise/min.This new tariff plan is called the Jumbo offer which enables subscirbers to local and STD calls on any network for just 50 paise/min. Moreover, it also offers reduced roaming incoming charges at 50 paise per minute.

Idea has also introduced a plan 'IDEA Pre to Post' through which existing prepaid subscribers can convert to postpaid plan by paying monthly rental of Rs 50
The other tariff plans introduced by the company for its postpaid subscribers include 'IDEA Value 125', 'IDEA Super Value 200', besides 'IDEA Pre to Post' plan. The new plans come with monthly rentals in the range of Rs. 50 to Rs 250
Idea introduces new Friends and Family (FnF) Plan

IDEA (MP & Chattisgarsh) has introduced a new tariff plan to promote usage amongst existing subscribers and attract new subscribers on its network. The new IDEA Friends and Family (FnF) offers call rate of just 20 paise/min on any chosen five numbers on its own network. This is only for prepaid subscribers.To avail the new plan, IDEA prepaid customers need to dial 777, followed by 9 from their mobile. IDEA subscribers can choose up to five numbers on the same network anywhere in Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh circle, and avail call charges of 20 paise per minute.
The new plan allows the customer to change the chosen number from FnF plan, at any given time, without any limit on the number of changes.

Following Mtnl, Airtel & Vodafone’s approach to lower its lifetime prepaid start-up amount, Idea announced its lifetime prepaid Recharge at Rs 25 with some extra stuff like Free Night calling and lower local call charges for Mumbai Circle.

In line of Airtel's Life Time recharge IDEA has also launched the life long validity recharge at Rs. 99
This offer is applicable for all new as well as existing Idea prepaid customers (except for New My Gang, VTopUp, Nokia HBO and PCO service classes). The customers can simply recharge with Rs. 99/- MRP and avail lifelong validity. The product structure is as follows:

Upon recharge with 99, the tariffs applicable to the customers will be the same as those applicable currently to Lifelong customers (i.e. default tariff i.e. Local calls @ Re. 1 and STD calls @ Rs. 1.5)
Now the recharge denomination of 195/- (which provided Lifelong validity and Rs. 10 talktime) will be shut down and will no longer be available for recharge.
