IDEA Cellular has announced Pay Per Second tariff plans In Bihar and Jharkhand. IDEA has introduced new tariff plan allowing its subscribers to pay per second for calls. IDEA subscribers availing this plan will get to make all Local and STD calls on any network in India, at the lowest tariff of 1 paisa per second. To avail the per second tariff plan, existing IDEA subscribers can purchase a special voucher priced at Rs. 8, whereas new subscribers can get it for Rs.14.IDEA has launched Super Saral Plan which offers its customers Local call rate at just 40 paisa per minute, and STD at 60 paisa per minute on any other mobile and landline network in the country.To avail these new reduced tariff plans, existing IDEA prepaid subscribers can purchase a special voucher priced at Rs. 12, and new subscribers for Rs. 18.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. M D Prasad, Circle Head – Bihar & Jharkhand, IDEA Cellular said, “This is yet another ‘first’ from IDEA to offer world class and affordable telephony services to mobile consumers in the region. With the new plans, IDEA subscribers in Bihar & Jharkhand will get the lowest call tariffs in the market. IDEA Cellular Pay Per Second tariff plans in Rajasthan. IDEA subscribers opting for the new ‘Super Seconds’ tariff plan will now be charged just 1 paisa for every second of the call duration. IDEA’s ‘Super Seconds’ tariff plan will offer all Local and STD calls on any network in India, at the rate of 1 paisa per second. Existing IDEA subscribers can avail the per second plan by purchasing ‘Super Seconds’ voucher for Rs. 24, whereas new subscribers can avail it for Rs. 55.Idea subscribers may also go for ‘Super Saral’plan which allows its subscribers to make Local calls at 40 paisa per minute, and STD at 60 paisa per minute on any other mobile and landline network in the country. Idea launched 8 Series Mobile Number in Rajasthan

Idea Mobile users in Rajasthan will be amongst the first among the Idea subscribers in the country to get the new series of mobile numbers starting with ‘8’. IDEA Cellular has launched the new series of numbers on its network in Rajasthan. For over 15 years, Indian mobile users have identified with numbers starting with ‘9’. The ‘8’ number series is available for new connections in both pre paid and post paid category on the IDEA network. New 10 digit IDEA numbers in Rajasthan will be of “8058” series. IDEA has also introduced ‘Super Saral’ offer for its new prepaid subscribers which offers Local call rate at just 50 paisa per minute and STD at Re. 1 per minute.‘Super Saral’ pack is priced at Rs. 66 and comes with a tariff validity of 1 year. IDEA subscribers can also avail these tariff benefits along with 100 free local SMS per day on Idea to Idea, with the new ‘Super pmgh’ through a recharge of Rs. 19. The first call min and SMS of the day will be charged at normal rates. ‘Super pmgh’ comes with a tariff validity of one year.

IDEA Cellular has now announced the new tariff for IDEA mobile users in the Mumbai. The new tariff offerins all STD and Local calls and SMS rates at just 50 paisa per minute, on any mobile or landline network in India.To avail the special tariff benefits, existing IDEA prepaid subscribers can recharge with the new special tariff voucher priced at Rs. 47. It comes with a validity of 5 months. New prepaid subscribers of IDEA can avail the reduced call rates on any recharge voucher.
The special call rate of 50 paisa for STD & Local calls on any network in India will be applicable from the second minute of the first call of the day. Regular tariff will apply for the first minute of the first STD and Local call of the day. Likewise, 50 paisa SMS call rate will also be applicable from the 2nd SMS of the day

IDEA Cellular has introduced a service for its customers in Kerala which will enable them to get easy and convenient access to information on various offers and value added service, through a simple SMS. IDEA prepaid subscribers can get details about the ongoing offers by just sending an SMS to 55458. IDEA subscribers can seek information based on MRP or the product category. To get the details of the offer available on a particular MRP, subscribers need to type OFR<>MRP and send it to 55458. Similarly, subscriber can SMS OFR<>Keyword to 55458, to get all the information of various offers in that particular category. The list of categories and their keywords are:

Few days back Idea had launched FRC 37 and FRC 95 which allows its subscribers to make calls at 50 paise/minute. Today Idea has announced that now it will allow its subscribers of Chennai and Tamil Nadu to make calls at 2 paise less i.e. 48 paise/min. Idea claims that these tariff rates are lowest rates provided by any mobile operator in Chennai and Tamil Nadu Circle. Both new and existing IDEA subscribers can avail the benefits of these special tariffs. To avail the special tariff benefits, new prepaid subscribers of IDEA can purchase any of the two new tariff vouchers priced at Rs. 37 and Rs. 95 offering a talk time of Rs. 15 and 70, respectively.Both these vouchers come with lifetime validity and offer local and STD rate of just 48 paisa per minute for calls made on all mobile and fixed line networks in the country. This special tariff benefit is applicable for a period of six months from the activation date.
Further, IDEA subscribers availing the Rs. 95 voucher will get an additional benefit of 100 free local SMS per day. The first two local SMS of the day will be charged at 48 paisa per SMS, for the subscriber to avail 100 free SMS of the day. Beyond the daily quota of free SMS, subscriber will be charged 48 paisa for every local SMS. National SMS will be charged at Re. 1.50 and international SMS at Rs. 5 on the new tariff vouchers.
Existing customers can upgrade to 48p tariff by recharging with Rs.12 value voucher and get the new tariff for 6 months.

IDEA Cellular has partnered with Reuters Market Light to launch a product targeted at rural subscribers. “Krishi Voucher’, the agricultural information service developed by Reuters Market Light, is now made available for the large farming community on the IDEA network, in Maharashtra & Goa circle. Comapany says that Krishi Voucher is designed to equip farmers with critical information that is easy to access and actionable, thus helping them improve both production and marketing of their produce. This information service, provides agriculture related information on various crops, pricing, market geographies, and climate/weather conditions and forecast.IDEA subscribers availing this service will get the following information updates:
- Market Prices and Arrivals in 3 markets for each of the 2 crops chosen by the farmer (choice of 49 crops available)
- 24 hour local weather forecast relevant to the farmer’s Taluka
- Information on best practices of production for 2 crops
- News having high impact on production, placement & realization
This service is available for a monthly subscription fee of Rs.75.

Idea launches new Tariff Plans for Chennai and Tamil Nadu

Idea has launched new tariff plans for mobile users in the Chennai and Tamil Nadu. As per the new offers, existing and new subscribers of IDEA can now make local calls to all mobile and landline networks at just 50 paise per minute, and all India STD at 75 paise per minute.To avail the special tariff benefits, new prepaid subscribers of IDEA can purchase two new tariff vouchers priced at Rs. 37 and Rs. 95 offering a talk time of Rs. 15 and 80, respectively. Both these vouchers come with lifetime validity and offer local call rate at 50 paisa, and STD at 75 paisa on all mobile and fixed line networks. However, regular STD tariff of Rs. 1.50 per minute will apply for the first minute of the first STD call of the day. Further, subscribers of Rs. 95 voucher will get an additional benefit of 100 free local SMS per day. The first 2 local SMS of the day will be charged at 50 paisa to avail 100 free SMS of the day.
Existing IDEA subscribers can avail these special call rates by purchasing a voucher priced at Rs. 41 which comes with one year validity.
IDEA has also introduced an innovative STD calling voucher priced at just Rs. 26 which offers a call rate of 50 paisa per minute on any mobile or landline network within South India including the states of Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, besides Tamil Nadu. IDEA prepaid subscribers can call anywhere in these states at 50 paisa per minute up to 300 minutes of usage, post which the regular STD call rates of the respective plans will apply.
