Asus’ innovative new product, the Padfone, has been a really intriguing device. Combining a smartphone with a tablet, with some awesome accessories seems to be far-fetched idea, and most of the people including us have been speculating its price.
So the device just went on pre-order in Taiwan, and this gave us an opportunity to know the pricing of the device.

ASUS made an entry into the tablet market with its 10 inch ASUS Eee Pad Transformer which was a great success and the recently launched the ASUS Transformer Prime, whose benchmark results have taken all by surprise. And now it seems that ASUS is readying to launch a new 7 inch tablet very soon.
Netbook Italia has got its hands over a promotional image, which is said to be of the upcoming 7 inch device.
Garmin Asus launches A10 , its first Android Navigation phone

Garmin-Asus, the co-branded alliance between Garmin and AsusTek has launched Garmin-Asus A10, its first Android navigation smartphone for the Indian users. The Garmin-Asus A10 is a touchscreen smartphone working on Android 2.1 (Éclair) platform. This phone has multiple navigation modes like Professional Pedestrian Navigation and In-car Navigation.This phone boasts on features like “Geotagging” wherein a geotagged photo can be sent to friends who can then initiate navigation to the location by simply clicking on it. It also supports services like Ciao, Flight Status, Currency convertor and Weather Updates.Detailed maps are preloaded on the A10 so that users do not have to pay and wait for third party maps to download from a server, nor will they lose their turn-by-turn, voice-prompted navigation if they are out of cell phone coverage. The A10 also features pedestrian navigation functionality and an electronic compass, making it ideal for city navigation. There is also a feature named “Walking Mode”, where pedestrian navigation on the A10 is free of charge to use. The A10 can be readily used in used as it comes with a audio mount that magnifies the volume of the handset’s voice commands. The car mount automatically switches the A10 to hands-free mode when the phone is docked and records the final GPS location when the phone is removed, enabling users to home in on their parking locations with ease. The car mount features will be sold separately.Once mounted, the car mount will recharge the phone automatically. A built-in speaker of car mount amplifies the volume of calls and of sounds from the handset.
The A10 features a 3.2” capacitive multi-touch screen and a 5-megapixel auto-focus camera that automatically geotags images with an exact location reference. The A10 is equipped with 4GB of internal storage, 512MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM. This phone comes with a long-lasting 1500mAh battery. The A10 also comes with a large built-in point of interest (POI) database and provides real-time information on weather, gas prices, parking lot availability, movie showtimes, public transportation, and more. These Connected Services can be accessed instantly via the A10’s “click and go” function.
The A10 integrates Google mobile services with one-click access to Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk, calendar, contacts and Android Market, where users can find thousands of applications to expand and personalize their phone to fit their lifestyles. 510 MB of memory is dedicated exclusively to applications.
The Garmin-Asus A10 will be offered in major metro cities including Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kolkata at INR 18,990.

Garmin-Asus has launched a new smartphone nuvifone M10. The M10 is a full-touchscreen powered by the latest version of Windows Mobile. The M10 has a sleek design with a 3.5-inch WVGA display and a finger-friendly user interface. The Billboard feature displays the most important information so users can review all at one glance. An intuitive 3D Task Manager also allows users to switch easily between running applications. Keeping the phone responsive and the navigation smooth are a 512 RAM and 512 ROM.The Garmin-Asus M10 boasts a range of social capabilities, including access to Facebook and Picasa Web Albums. It also places real-time information on connected services such as weather, flight status, currency exchange and friend finder, Ciao, at users’ fingertips. In addition, the M10 is equipped with a high performance 5MP camera that automatically Geo-tags photos so that users will always know where they were taken and can share them with friends via Facebook and Picasa.
It comes with preloaded mobile navigation from Garmin. It has preloaded maps and provides voice guidance in Hindi and English.

ASUS unveiled their Garmin Asus Nuvifones M20 and G60 in the Indian market. With the nuvifone, Garmin-Asus intends to introduce location-centric approach in the lifestyle of the Indian people through their location based services. The Garmin-Asus nuvifone brings maps to life with high quality data from global map provider, NAVTEQ. Although navigation is a key component of the nüvifone series, the devices do more than “just navigate.” Both the nüvifone G60 and M20 incorporate top-of-the-line phone capabilities with premium features such as 3.5G data connectivity, SMS text messaging, email, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and more. The nüvifone G60 and M20 have a full HTML browser that customers can easily zoom in or pan with their finger, and pages may be viewed in either portrait or landscape. The nüvifone G60 and M20 include a built-in camera with auto-focus. The camera automatically geotags images with an exact latitude and longitude reference of where the image was taken. The user may then save the image so they can navigate back to the location, or email the geo-tagged image to others.
